  1. I’m pretty sure I predicted like 99% of this trade exactly just a few weeks ago. Folks wanted to trade Burns and i said Chicago wouldn’t do that, but they’d likely take DJ, the firsts and the seconds.
  2. It’s not “that much” but it’s also about money.
  3. I believe there’s got to be some dead cap or something but I haven’t looked. Either way we need to find some decent #2 WR on the market to give our new guy bodies to throw to.
  4. Wrong. Happy we got the 1. I’ll miss DJ. Would rather have traded Burns. But it is what it is. This coaching staff and GM identified their guy. I’ll support it.
  5. Yeah Bears new WR room is: Moore, Mooney, Claypool and Kmet at TE. Having Moore added is going to open things up for Mooney and Claypool. And now we have no #1 or #2 WR.
  6. I’m in the same boat. Chicago was just in a position where they had Mooney at 1, and he’s a great #2, and no other guy on the roster who was higher than a four anywhere else. Now they have Moore at the 1, Mooney at 2, Claypool at 3…that’s a good young group. What do we have? TMJ is our current 1.
  7. Usually because in the NFL the team around him matters and usually the best guys are going to the worst teams.
  8. Bryce couldn’t touch the season Mac Jones had at Bama but who is a better pro prospect? One was mid first round and the other might be the top pick in the draft. Jones was so efficient he had a Tua/Burrow type year. I think he set the record. Stop being a stats guy and watch the games. You know nothing about Florida football or the situation the team performed under this past season. Our “third string” was to compete with Richardson for the e starting job. He was a 4+ star recruit from OSU but he got hurt early on before the season started. If Richardson went down long term he was going to start. The fear of having no depth behind Richardson while Miller healed is what caused us to stop running Richardson. We couldn’t risk both of them being hurt. The bowl game was his chance to show he can be the man next year and we don’t need to hit the portal for a QB. We played so poorly on offense we got bood for kicking a field goal to end the game. He played so poorly we hit the transfer portal for a guy who had worse stats than Richardson this year in a much easier conference. Don’t be a stats guy. Watch the games. And it’s clear from how you keep talking about Florida that you haven’t watched the games.
  9. Jack Miller was only third string because he was hurt all year. Miller got us 3 points on a last second field goal. Stop. You’re just typing to type if you think Richardson just stays locked on to read 1 on 90% of his plays.
  10. I won’t disagree because I’m not a fan of hooker. To me he was the most “one read” QB in this class.
  11. Talent wise Young is more talented. I just don’t believe in my heart that he stays healthy in the NFL.
  12. We aren’t paying a running back, our running game got better, their running game got better. Both sides win. They didn’t win the SB but it still worked out for both of us.
  13. Only Stroud and Richardson this year threw for 250+ yards with a passing touchdown and no interceptions against UGA this year.
  14. I am not anti Will at all. If we draft him I am cool. I just want us to draft a QB. It is what it is. I am tired of “vet” retreads. I don’t want Young. I do want Stroud. If I am going to take a chance on an upside guy, I prefer Richardson over Levis but I would be happy with either. It’s just my preference.
  15. Looks like two very predictable offenses.
  16. Experience of knowing when to take the underneath guy helps a lot when you’re getting pressured. There isn’t much doubt in my mind if Richardson came back for another year his completion percent would be higher.
  17. Against common opponents: Vanderbilt , UGA, MIZ, TENN Richardson - 75 of 137 completions (55%), 1,190 passing yards, 7 touchdown passes, 3 interceptions, 37 carries for 161 yards rushing and 2 more rushing touchdowns. Will Levis - 59 of 100 completions (59%), 583 passing yards, 4 touchdown passes, 5 interception, 23 carries, negative rushing yards and 0 tds. Both teams have poor offensive pass catcher and poor offensive lineman. Don’t pretend that Florida had significantly more help around Richardson. Now factor in that this was Richardsons first year starting and he is two full years younger than Levis and this is why I am higher on him than I am on Levis.
  18. Richardson played significantly better against common opponents. Their accuracy was basically the same but Richardson scored more, got more yards, and turned the ball over less than Levis against the same opponents.
  19. Richardson went through reads. That wasn’t the issue. Jack Miller lead the Gators to 3 points in Richardsons absence. The next QB SHOULD post better stats than Richardson. He’s a fifth year senior.
