He’s killed the Colts in the practices so no need to play. edit: to be clear he’s killed them all week ( and DJ looks uncoverable over there ) but the Colts, twice, actually hit him during the scrimmages even though you can’t touch the QB. And one of those was a low hit in the knee area. So not worth risking his health.

Oh I don't disagree but to me, finishing 1-2 games out of a wildcard spot is about where I think we will end up. Close enough that if a couple breaks go our way we could sneak in.

I don't expect to win the division. But I do expect to compete for a playoff spot. The most important thing for this season is that we get glimpses that Bryce Young is the guy who is going to have a long career in the NFL. But I don't see how we are worse than last year. Some other teams might have gotten significantly better, but I feel like we have gotten better, too.

If you are making a massive ordeal about preseason to the point its driven you to drink, you absolutely need to touch grass and realize this is just preseason. You are talking about getting riled up over the second half of a doesn't count football game where there are no starters playing. Then don't watch preseason football lol. Especially when all the starters are out. Preseason football teaches you Blake Bortles and Zach Wilsons are lighting it up and then it doesn't translate to the real games. I’ll worry when it’s happening in the regular season with all of our starters and gameplan. Bortles used to dominate preseason and then outside of one year, do meh in the nfl. It’s just preseason.

It’s the NFL. You don’t sit players because you are scared they will get hurt. Young is supposed to be beyond advanced mentally. I don’t believe he’s at risk of becoming Sam Darnold and it sends a piss poor message to the rest of the veterans on your team that you aren’t putting the best players on the field.

PJ is playing so poorly in Chicago in games and practices he’s a potential roster cut option despite the two year four million dollar nothing contract. MC has been better than him this football season so far.

This new coaching staff should be better than what Rhule put together. This rookie QB should be better than our QBs last year. Anyone overreacting to what you see in preseason after being proven year in and year out that how you look in preseason doesn’t foretell how you will perform in the regular season… just doesn’t know football. Im almost convinced at this point folks making threads like this is just their defense mechanism because they are scared of being optimistic.
