A better throw and there is no pick. It’s on Bryce.
-
They both are not playing well.
-
It’s cope my guy. Bryce stats show he’s super accurate throwing to dudes who are super open. So why throw into an ultra tight window here when two other guys are wide open and one was literally uncovered?

You don't evaluate QBs based on their school.

Bryce Young has 4 pick sixes in a season. In game 10 out of 17...
Varking replied to Pantha-kun's topic in Carolina Panthers
A lot of it happens because the ball has no velocity so defenders are stopped or running at our endzone where our receivers are still running the other way and it gets jumped. -
No such thing unless the QB is mentally weak. And we’ve been told Bryce is the opposite.

First off you have zero clue how far football took me in life. You’re just throwing around personal insults whenever you get asked a question. I would wager I played football at a higher level than 99.99% of the Huddle. And I never bring it up because you don’t need to play football at a D1 Power 5 conference level to evaluate football. There are folks here who get things right that NFL execs get wrong and then they get stuff wrong that they questioned why our team did what it did. Secondly, of course I still wanted CJ Stroud. Stroud is already further along than Sam Darnold. If Darnold is your comp for CJ then you are mistaken. Thirdly, you still haven’t explained why you are so obsessed with Darnold. You probably have linked more videos of him than anyone since he left. Lastly, today Stroud is up to 259 yards passing in the first half today. Has Bryce ever thrown for 259 in the NFL? We are past the halfway point of this NFL season if you still have to revert to somebodies college tape then something is wrong.
-
It’s not hard to process a throw to a guy at or behind the line of scrimmage. You spend too much time posting video of Darnold.

Gators QB hurt two defenders and himself on a run.

How would you rank all the Panthers QBs that have started a game?
Varking replied to X-Clown's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wins are absolutely not a QB stat. -
You are saying Bryce Young’s processing ability in the NFL is second to none?
-
This chart is ridiculous. It basically says Mac Jones and Bryce don’t have guys who get separation and that Mac is significantly more inaccurate in the same situations as Bryce. But then the results: Jones has a higher completion percent, more yards per attempt, higher QBR, higher rating, basically Bryce and Jones are close in performance this season. The only thing Bryce does better is Jones is on pace over 17 games to have 17 TDs and 17 INTs, where Bryce is on Pace for 17 TDs and 15 INT. Who is high on Mac Jones this season?

Houston’s coaches draw up plays on the sideline with CJ because they have a feel for the game. Their offensive coaching is superior to ours for sure. Stroud is killing it. At a rate no other rookie ever really has. He’s got the talent and he’s in positions to succeed. And this past week they finally got the run game going to help him out. First time they have had a hundred yard rusher since 2021 season I believe.

Maybe Steve Smith actually did draft Mingo
Varking replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
My problem with Mingo was he didn’t produce in college either even in a Kiffin offense. Ole Miss had a string of 1k yard receivers and top talent and Mingo was supposed to be that next guy up and he just couldn’t produce. -
I get folks don’t like the guy but McDaniels the OC is top half of the league, as a HC he’s bottom 3 overall. If he’s strictly going to be an OC I don’t hate it.

Other teams can offer Tee Higgins more money and have a better supporting cast than us. Why would he come here?
-
There’s zero need to be this insulting on the internet. Especially on a football forum for a team with no back to back winning seasons ever.
-
It’s not just the yards, it’s the no interceptions. No fumbles. 58 pass attempts and only three sacks. He did so much to help the team without hurting it. And he’s been practicing and running with the backups all year up until that week. Could it have been ever better if he got all the reps Bryce was getting? Hard to say.

Daniel Jeremiah on Panthers Offense/Bryce
Varking replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’d do it if Atlanta throws in something. It can’t be player for player as DE is worth more. -
What I’ve seen in the past few weeks here is that folks no longer really have any argument over Stroud v Young and we picked the wrong guy but Young is our guy now for the next three seasons. But because there isn’t any real argument against Stroud being better now, folks looking to argue have gotten to the point where they tell you to go cheer for another team or they make up a fake argument about folks here saying Stroud would be Manning in his prime if he were in Carolina. When you have a real argument or case against something you don’t need to exaggerate things. This place is in its like 4th stage of cope. There’s only two stages left: The stage where Bryce has a game where he balls out and then we go back to stage 1 of “Bryce is the guy!!” , followed by a dud performance to end the season where folks start projecting what day 2 QB we can bring in to compete.
-
If I were CJ I’d promote those folks. Only cost him one spot in the draft and is on a team that really lets him show out.

Sanders and Rattler.

Daniel Jeremiah on Panthers Offense/Bryce
Varking replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Folks here love them a villain that doesn't exist. How many comments can you point to that somebody says Stroud would be the best ever in this offense? I believe, when speaking on behalf of the Huddle, the sentiment would be "Stroud would be playing better than Bryce in this offense". -
Bills fire OC Ken Dorsey, promote former Panthers OC Joe Brady
Varking replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
This. We went from ok to terrible real quick after he was let go. And the reasoning was we wanted to run more but he wasn't doing that. And then the first week he was gone we ran less than we did all season lol.
