  1. Houston, Indi, Chicago, Tenn, Atlanta, Green Bay are all winnable.
  2. I’ve known they had a great run. Had no context of it basically being as long as we have been around. That’s insane.
  3. I don’t know if this was intentional or not but this made me spit out my drink. I’d move to see these reports of us getting a deep throat receiver. That’s far better gossip than anything coming out of Bank of America recently.
  4. Prayers up brother. Wish nothing but the best for you regardless of where you go. Hope to see you around more if you do decide to get more active again.
  5. That’s how I cope with the Panthers so yeah lol
  6. I don’t think you can give up on Bryce before he plays 3 full seasons. And I don’t think you can move on from Frank before then either because you want stability for your young passer.
  7. CJ has quietly settled into Charlotte and playing a lot better.
  8. Context for Fields was he received 0 first team reps in camp or preseason. They were planning on bringing him along slowly and then they they started so terribly so threw him out there after Dalton got banged up. He was never supposed to be the starter year 1. All the other guys on the list got their teams first team reps as far as I can recall.
  9. You’re missing 4 rushing touchdowns by AR at a quick glance.
  10. I’d rather have a known quantity in DJ Moore over a potential good WR when we haven’t drafted a good one since the previous regime got us DJ. Our second rounders have been swings and misses.
  11. I fully believe Stroud would be operating the offense here better than Bryce because I also believe the offense was designed by Reich with Stroud in mind before it became clear we were going for Bryce. Stroud is a better player right now. That doesn’t mean he’ll be better in three years still but right now he absolutely would have helped get more wins than Bryce so far.
  12. The trade was a bust because of what was given, not what was gained. Panthers got Bryce Young. Bears got a #1 WR, used the pick swap to gain a first round Left Tackle Wright, used the other pick for their #2 corner in Stevenson, have a 2024 pick from the eagles and a round 2 2025 from us. That pick from us could be Caleb Williams or Marvin Harrison Jr. or they could flip it for even more picks if it’s the first overall pick. But I’m not mad we went with Bryce. The reason I hate the trade is we could have given up Brown, Burns or DJ and our franchise said “so we are going with a young QB at 1…. Let’s not move our defenders to keep our best weapon to support him, let’s trade away DJ Moore”. If Fields doesn’t continue developing then they have ammo to go after Williams or Maye while also having DJ Moore on their roster…
  13. I don’t care that it was garbage time it allowed him to go out there with his guys and get into a rhythm. Build some reps and confidence. We’ll see if it carries over to this week.
  14. It’s a “for now” thing. I feel like Young shouldn’t run from his size. He’s not thick. He needs to get the ball out and avoid hits as much as possible. The more you get hit the more at risk you are for injuries. And we can’t afford to have him miss time like AR when we are trying to evaluate him.
  15. Your first paragraph is what I want to focus on. It’s more easy to forgive the QB and the offense as a whole if we were trying more things downfield. AT is open basically whenever he wants to be. He can run a 10 yard post and he would be open. Let’s open it up more and then the short stuff would be open more.
  16. My point was Burrow flashed during his first year. He passed the eye test easily. Fields had flashy plays but didn’t really flash throwing wise until year 2. The Bears, however are getting credit for investing in Fields when all they did was accept the only player from their list we were willing to part with. They asked for Burns, Brown or Moore and we went with Moore because they believed he’d be easy to replace with a point guard at QB. We messed that up. I don’t believe for a moment the Bears would have added another DJ Moore level name to their roster “for Justin” had we not offered ours up. QBs do take time to level up and get used to the league for the most part. I’m not asking for Bryce to be a world beater even if he was the first overall pick in the draft. I’m asking for him to give me some wow moments while we lose.
  17. 1. Bryce Young is not THE problem on this roster. He has been ONE OF the problems for sure through games 1-3. I was much higher on him after this game than the previous even with the bone headed interception. But his performance for the first three games was in no way winning football that lifts up the team around him. 2. Is that your article linked towards the top? Asking because the author talked about the arm talent and being a true threat to run and I question how highly rated the author has Bryce’s arm talent and running ability.
  18. @ForJimmyis one of the best and most level headed posters here.
  19. But Burrow was excelling and folks could see it. That’s why they went WR for him. They clearly asked him what he preferred because he showed he could be the guy. I mean he was flashing in week 1. He was keeping them in games early. And again, just in the first four games alone he went 1-2-1. We would kill right now for a win and a tie. People will give first round QBs passes so long as you show something that flashes. Burrow was in that group. Tua was getting killed because he wasn’t flashing. Fields got killed online because he wasn’t flashing. If Bryce was out here playing like Burrow did weeks 1-4 we likely have a win or two under our belts. If Bryce was showing out we wouldn’t care about this being a losing season. Right now we are hanging our hats on his performance in the 4th quarter of a game where his struggles early lead directly to 14 points for the other team.
  20. Panthers get • Bryce Young Bears get DJ Moore ( WR ) Marvin Harrison Jr ( WR ) Darnell Wright ( LT ) Tyrique Stevenson ( CB ) 2024 Eagles Round 2 2025 Panthers Round 2 This is what has been floating around online if our pick gets used for Marvin Harrison JR.
  21. He’s currently on pace for 3187 yards, 21 touchdowns, 17 INTs, 276 rushing yards and 4 fumbles if you average out his stats over 17 games, which he’s already missed one.
