For college his arm was enough. Just like Will Grier had enough arm in college as did Jimmy Clausen. If Trask was as elite as you believe he is, what happened during their bowl game? I’m confused as to how as a lifelong Gator fan I’m able to take off the rose tinted goggles and evaluate him appropriately and you are acting as if he has the highest upside of any guy in the draft. Grimes and Pitts won the majority of their 50/50 balls and Tony was open almost any time he felt like turning it on. It’s the Mac Jones issue. It’s easy to look great when elite talent is there to help carry you. I love Kyle Trask and appreciate everything he did for us at Florida. You are rating him too highly.

We need camp bodies and none of that group outside of Shaq is expensive, and he just reworked his deal so there is no way he gets cut.

I’m a Gator homer. I just don’t see Trask as an elite NFL QB. As you said, the arm strength isn’t horrific but it is lesser and he doesn’t have much in the way of mobility. He needs elite weapons or a great line to give him time to make reads. Grimes should go well before the 6th.

Even if we are doing it position by position I wouldn’t leave out our #2 and 3 targets. Moore, Anderson and Samuel are way better than what Jacksonville has.

Kyle Trask. A guy who benefit in a major way throwing to guys like Toney, Grimes and Pitts.

DJ is better than Chark. CMC is better than Robinson. Anderson is better than Eifert. Even if you want to go by pass catchers last year alone our group destroys theirs. DJ, Anderson and Curtis kill their group.

In his defense it looked like the video said Pitts vs Surtain. So I’m not sure why they showed him getting gimped by Grimes ( our #2 receiver / #3 pass catcher behind Pitts and Toney.

Think he was thinking of this play where Pitts was being triple covered and one of the guys covering was PS.

Kyle Pitts at 8 is fine if the four QBs are off the board.

I think he’s a pretty marked improvement over Teddy. His rookie year alone destroys anything Teddy has ever done in the NFL. With Jacksonville tanking last season, him injured, missing games and them not wanting to put him back in there he still outplayed Teddy. And then you look at his playmakers and they can’t touch ours. Minshew is a better pro QB than Teddy.

He name dropped QB Coach Avery twice, the personal coach of Fields and Lance and I wonder what that means for their association with him.

Draft Pitts, Chase or Sewell. They’ll all help the next QB.

I worked for a large corporation for nine years and was a manager there for seven. One of the first things they taught us was if you were going to be in an office with somebody of the opposite sex you had to have another person of that same sex in there with you or you needed to have the door completely open. It seemed way over the top but it helped avoid situations where one party could claim something inappropriate was going on to get out of trouble.

I wouldn’t pay him 11 mill a year. He did better with Teddy than he did with Kyle Allen but I’m happy he went to rejoin him.

I think id play if it was 4QBs by the 7th pick meaning we miss out on our slot. I think we will be grabbing the fourth QB.

Atlanta can draft BAP now and not worry about QB for another couple years.
