That is part of the problem. When your offensive line and QB are bottom tier trash you don't have a lot of plays you can call. Everyone seems ready to fast forward to next season.

I don't see how the owner who is willing to invest in the staff is the problem here. We have bad talent at the most important position in the game. And as far as dogshit, we have never not been dogshit as a franchise. We have never had back to back winning seasons. At some point we will properly address that position and it won't feel so bad going forward. We brought in Teddy when it was clear he wasn't a franchise guy and now we bring in Darnold who was clearly not a franchise guy. We need to hit a home run in the draft and get our guy.

I can see where you are attempting to make a point but I have been anti-Darnold for some time now. So that was a silly thing to write.

I still don't believe Darnold was "his guy". Its been widely reported he chose not to watch film on him so he could make his own opinions on the kid. He was able to hide how trash he was for three games. The best three game stretch of his career. And then he regressed.

You don’t need to put 20 yards of height under the ball to get the result. And the defender would not have made it over to recover.

Putting a smidge of air under the ball and that’s a TD and a fantastic call by Joe Brady.

I can see the line didn’t block well so the defender could get his hands up. But I see another low throw from Sam and CMC has tons of separation. Air could have been out under the ball with no issue.
