I take these bets every year I don’t really think I’ll win but I think they are fun harmless ideas. I don’t mind swapping an avatar for the year. But I’m hoping next year I can make it a Matt Corral one and keep it for years to come.

Hicks is awesome when he’s in the field and he’s beloved in the locker room but it’s got to the at a lower price point. I understand we have the cap but he’s had injury issues and he’s on the wrong side of 30. I don’t want the other two and if we are going to spend at this point give us some more help on offense along the line or one of the WRs on a one year prove it deal.

Give me Salyer and Ariaza and let’s call it a day.

Oh I didn’t think we had anything to replace it yet. I just thought we were done with “Keep Pounding” because the only thing we pound is the bottom of the standings under Rhule. And even before him a lot, I guess.

It depends on what it is we are getting in exchange. In your scenario we are still getting a good tackle but maybe we gets Thibs? I’d take that. But the truth is this franchise has ignored top end talent at LT for so many years in the draft I almost feel like the team owes it to the fans, and more importantly, it’s QBs. I find it hard to believe Cross and Neal will both be gone when we pick. Why not draft one of them and you can still sign a LT to help groom them because we obviously don’t do a great job of coaching up the line.

Thing is I think WR is going the way of the RB in terms of talent in the draft. There are so many talented WRs entering the draft every year and those guys are starting to make major impacts as rookies now why trade for an older, non elite WR at all when you can probably draft one with equal or better talent and have them on a rookie deal? Its why I’m confused by the Jets rumored offers for Deebo. If you are willing to part with like 4 draft picks for him aren’t you a bit concerned that those picks could just be used for WRs that have similar levels of talent? And combined they will cost less than what Deebo will get in a contract in like two more years. And you’d have them for 2-3 more years than him.

If Neal is there at 10 you have to grab him. I’m ok with getting him at 6, too.

I’m happy with either. There’s a lot of areas to improve on this team and if we pick at 6 we should get an impact guy.

Just a personal preference of him having to carry more of the load of an offensive line against teams much better than his vs Neal where his oline is so good around him it’s a little easier on him.

It depends on what the medical issue is, in my eyes. Some guys are still worth the pick even with injury history.
