  1. This makes sense for dudes not going up against other dudes who run as fast or faster than you and weigh 260+. At 190 ( and I think Young plays at 180-185 ) that’s a dude 70 pounds heavier than you being able to put all their weight on you when you aren’t ready for it…it’s serious cause for concern. Young is a stud. He dominated in college. When he steps foot on the NFL fields though come week 1 he’s going to be the smallest framed player on the field every week unless folks have an old school kicker that weighs 170 lol.
  2. I’m pretty confident 180-185 is his normal playing weight.
  3. Much less worries about a dude who can bulk up to 220-225 and seem like a good sized QB in the NFL vs the kid who put on water weight just to hit 200 and run no drills and then not reweigh at the pro day. I don’t know if Young’s frame can handle 215. Bama is world class weight rooms and facilities and he played at 185 most of his career.
  4. He played at 210 most of his career and never looked as small as Young. It’s weird. Folks think there can only be one Josh Allen but swear this kid could easily be the next Drew Brees.
  5. He did get hurt so I’m not sure where folks get he handled the SEC without injury.
  6. Not hopping off of Stroud over a combine or pro days lol. He’s been my guy.
  7. Now do Bama! Tua misses lots of time and may not be long for the league. Feels like he’s a concussion or two from never playing again. Mac Jones regressed in a major way to the point there were grumbling the Patriots were trying to trade him AND he got benched for Zappe. Also has been called for a couple dirty plays in him time including one against Burns. Also battled injuries in the NFL already with his high ankle sprains. BAMA QBs = Sawft and Young is lighter than all them. Joe Burrow spent three years at OSU if you want to give Bama credit for Hurts.
  8. And if he was 2 inches shorter or -5 pounds lighter he wouldn’t even be a prospect.
  9. Pat White is the only QB I can recall who played at a similar weight and he got crunched.
  10. Folks who get fooled by Pro Days tend to fall for the Zach Wilson’s of the world.
  11. Knew he wouldn’t weigh in. He’s under 200 again for sure because.
  12. Why did Bryce do nothing at the combine at all? Not even throw with the other guys.
  13. He killed it again. And the Panthers stuff didn’t hide their feelings for him at all. Lots of smiles all throughout the showing. It looked like we celebrated his pro day. We had coaches hugging Tepper lol
  14. And Bryce is even smaller. To be fair, Levis is like 29 years old so he’s had lots of gym time.
  15. If you are giving Bama credit for Hurts you have to give OSU credit for Burrow since he spent more time there.
  16. Colleges lie about height and weight all the time. It was said Johnston was 6’4 and then measured at the combine at 6’2.
  17. What have I missed on with either Burns or Brown? One is great at getting after the QB and is a liability in the run game. We’ve all seen teams abuse him from time to time by running at him. And on the flip side Brown had his best season but he’s a run stuffer right now who we would hope gets after the QB more. I didn’t say anything crazy about them.
