What a wild turnaround for them already if this game is any indication of them being competitive.

The issue is the Panthers wanted to move to 1 for their guy. Not 2 and hope your guy falls. Or 3. So why would they trade up to 2 or 3 if they knew Houston wanted a QB and they weren’t sure who it would be. Both teams won this trade. It’s fair value for both sides. We got our guy and if he doesn’t pan out we haven’t set the franchises future back by mortgaging a bunch of future firsts. The Bears stuck with Fields and if he doesn’t work out then they have a high first rounder, and if folks here think we aren’t a playoff team then they have two high first rounders to chase Drake Maye and Caleb Williams.

Hardy flashed his first two years. Once he got a chance to start I was confident he was going to be a guy who terrorized QBs. YGM is nowhere near as talented as Hardy was.

A 6th should do it.

It’s crazy lol, like a week with a little league baseball coach will teach you how to slide and there’s so many QBs that suck at it lol. And yeah, I’m sure he’s never had to slide in his life. He’ll get there!

It’s not going to cost much. They will cut him if a deal isn’t found. He has 10 sacks the last two seasons but that’s a bit misleading. He got most of those two years ago. Not last year. He disappeared in their defense last season. He’s not suited for their defensive scheme. Hard worker and a good dude. I’d prefer him over YGM.

This is all I really wanted from Bryce this preseason.

Good thing we aren't asking him to be the starter. The only QB we need to evaluate is Young. If he goes down the season is lost anyway.
