  1. I haven’t accused him of anything nor I have suggested definitively one way or the other that this is or isn’t his burner. I think maybe you meant to reply to somebody else.
  2. I don’t think anyone cares he has a burner. I think folks are saying if THIS is his burner than it’s not a good look. Telling people you hope their loved ones die.
  3. The vets had a wonky offseason due to the lockout and we’ve seen how much a change in offseason activity works for the league. Look at how bad many folks who are elite played in week 1 with the less preseason games. Now imagine players can’t come into the facility and get their work in and they all have to do it on their own? Sloppy play and not being ready to start the season. Rookies who were on a program to workout and work together for the draft benefit that year.
  4. Not always. Herbert looked good out the gate. Luck was good. Cam threw for 400 yards to start his career. Just a few rookies off the top of my head.
  5. Wasn’t the year Cam went first overall the year there was a lockout or something so so vets weren’t doing their normal routine and workouts and stuff?
  6. Folks don’t want to hear stuff like this. Also, it’s game one where Burrow looked like the worst QB in football. Also, Fields is 6th in the NFL for total QB yards after week 1.
  7. Jaire is a stud and regularly diminishes who he is covering out there. Dude deserves his flowers. Plus he’s hilarious.
  8. @TheCasillas I can’t read it because it’s paid but he was pressured on 65% of his drop backs per the Athletic. USA Today on Packers attributes 6 pressures to Wyatt on their dline alone.
  9. I don’t believe this is accurate. Only Daniel Jones was pressured more than Fields this week. And no QB was pressured less this week than Jordan Love ( 2 times ).
  10. I imagine when they get Jenkins back on the line they won’t have him under pressure on 35 of 42 drop backs or whatever it was. He’s a beast when healthy but he’s often not healthy.
  11. Aaron and Mahomes have big arms too. Mahomes and Allen are usually cited as the top 2.
  12. Fields after a wonky week 1 is 15th in rushing for the whole NFl and 16th in passing yards. Combine the two and he’s 6th in total yards for a QB right now.
  13. With Henderson at least he shows up and you can know what to expect. With Horn it’s just waiting for the inevitable bang his toe on the corner of a table and find out his back is fractured. You have to build your gameplan around Henderson being your top corner and then be happy surprised if Jackson or Horn can play that day. So sick of this.
  14. I don’t know how they broke them up before ever giving them an opportunity to carry the belts. I believe Enzo and Cass would have won the titles at Mania if the Hardy’s didn’t come back.
  15. He doesn’t have a top half of the NFL arm strength type of arm. That’s not needed to win. It helps but it’s not the be all end all. Arm strength can cover up bad reads if used right. If Young makes better reads then it’s a non factor. These things will get ironed out.
  16. They were yelling at the Texas players that they were “fa**ots” like 15 times before the video cut off. Those kids, from where the video took place had to be front row seats on the Texas side. The Texas players heard them and then they started dancing while they shouted it.
  17. https://x.com/burntorangebuzz/status/1701013604924104720?s=20 Not a good look for Alabama fans.
  18. Speaking of the lines in the trenches:
  19. He processed the ball to the other team twice. He got picked up twice by a non elite secondary player because he wasn't properly processing what he was seeing because he had it set in his head on one of those plays he was throwing it over the middle after counting to three no matter what. And the DB read it the whole way. I am high on Bryce long term. Today wasn't it though. It is hard for me to wrap my head around folks thinking he displayed ANY elite trait here on regularity. And he dropped in his performance majorly as the game went on. I still try not to judge too harshly. Its week one. Even Joe Burrow looked like a poor performing rookie today. Jordan Love threw 3 TDs despite completing like 50% of his passes. We lost to Ridder and he was king check down and barely threw any passes. Week 1 is weird.
  20. Lets pump the brakes. A lot of yall also thought Kyle Allen passed the eye test in his first FOUR career starts, too. Its one week. There is no need to come to conclusions off of one game.
  21. I thought Mac played pretty good. Week 1 was ultra weird.
