He would put up yards in our offense or the Bears. Just, unfortunately for him, Herbert and Johnson are better runners and pass catchers. So the only use they have for him is blocking and I don't feel like he is a significantly better blocker than either of them, either way.

If Bryce works out, even if he doesn't hit the same highs as AR, still a win for us. Just need our guy... to be our guy.

Bears should have picked Baker off on the first drive and didn't. I think the Bears have 0 turnovers on defense and 0 sacks so far this season. Sort of... exactly where they were last year.

I mean thats like saying we only played Atlanta... You can only play who they schedule and the issues with AR around accuracy haven't been prominent so far. And obviously as a runner he is deadly.

Today we are Packers Packers and Bears fans. A dub on Monday night would put us even with the rest of the division if the Packers and Bears can help us a little.

What he does well, both Herbert and Johnson do better so there is no need for him there, honestly. Lucky for them it was a cheap contract.

Sauce has a whole year of dominant film to support him being good in coverage. That’s not been the case for Chinn recently. If Sauce gets cooked a bunch this year then we would have to revisit. But I don’t think we should even be placing Sauce and Chinn anywhere near the same conversation. Again, this isn’t some trick play or a double move, it was one cut and he was lost.

I’m probably guilty of remembering Chinns rookie year and thinking he’d be that plus some more in future seasons.

It’s not just Pitts, it’s the issue of Chinn looking poorly in coverage. I know Pitts is a different but Chinn was the guy who should be able to cover TEs.

I agree with everything written here.

I never said he was bad. I just don’t believe he deserves anywhere near Aaron Donald or DaRon Payne or Javon Hargraves money. We absolutely should pay him. And we should have paid Burns already.

Agreed. “I don’t care SO MUCH that I’m going to show that by commenting on it and tell others they need to touch grass”. Not realizing it might be advice they need to take themselves.
