I still think right now they are getting the top 2 picks in the draft and going Caleb Williams + Marvin Harrison Jr.

So now the folks who got mad at me for saying Colorado wasn't going to complete this week, or the next ( if its another top 25 team next week they play ) we can get back to discussing draft prospects and good teams!

We picked the guy most folks had as the #1 QB in the class. I clearly wanted Stroud but couldn’t be let over the pick if Bryce.

Baker through two games with us had 380 passing yards, 2 passing TDs to 1 INT. Same TD total, 1 less int and like 80 more passing yards so a total of 40 more yards per game. Panthers also put up 40 points in his first two starts. Panthers with Bryce have put up 27 points. We are dead last in points and passing yards at the moment. We’ve been on the other end a few times like Kyle Allen going 4-0 to start with us, Darnold starting 3-0, etc. a lot can change between now and the end of the season.

It’s all the tight coverage completions that Stroud is making that does it for me.

Garbage time should be when the other team is playing prevent defense. Which the Colts were not until very late in the game. Look at CJ Strouds third down numbers for an overall look at how well he has been playing under pressure this season.

It’s already been pointed out the Colts did not play any prevent defense until mid 4th quarter. This is just what folks are telling themselves to not make it hurt so bad.

A class with elite top end talent like Marvin Harrison Jr, too.

They need Anderson to pan out too. They gave up future draft capital for the kid.

I go through the same thing every season: I watch every game and cheer for us to win every game. When we lose that game I’m mad or frustrated for like 30 minutes and then I tell myself at least it helps with draft positioning. Without a first round pick next year that’s a little tougher to do but I’ll find a way to make it not feel like the end of the world.

He’s basically on pace for his career averages. But his catch rate and first down rate are up significantly over years past. The only other thing they could be doing is just feeding him even more. The routes and concepts he’s running has him open. The QB needs to get him the ball more.

Hopefully he comes out stronger once he’s back in the lineup!

Are folks saying Stroud is a lock for the hall or are they saying he looks better than Bryce right now?

The quarterback isn’t playing well. That’s not being used wrong. He’s being used right, the QB is off. If Chark runs a go and gets open but Dalton doesn’t throw it, is that Chark being used wrong? And also what do folks want DJ to say back to the defender? No this is exactly how I should be used? “Watch the film” is such a low effort thing to say around here by trolls for the most part.
