Two great deep balls by Fields. Not sure why Mooney stopped instead of keep running on the opening play.

We are close to being at the point where he has more losses here in Carolina this year than he’s had in his career at Bama.

Bryce could be a future cautionary tale...

We’d all like him to improve. Winning football games could be fun. We should try to do that sometimes. I feel like a lot of the game each week we are playing to not lose the game vs play to win. -
Today he can take all the time he wants. Once a game Yannick gets a pressure and outside of that, smooth sailing for opposing QBs as long as penalties don’t kill your drive.

Bears can’t win a game until they get some dline help. Wonder if we could send them a guy like Burns for a guy like DJ Moore?

Bears only lose by two scores tonight to honor him

I think it was child related based on a ton of rumors that popped up in my feed

In the Pro-Juedy defense camp, Juedy is likely better than anything we would draft in the second or third round anyway at WR lol

Panthers are positioned very well for 2024 and on

The Bears had a ton of cap space and they spent it all on dudes that haven't done much other than tackle. Having money is good. Spending it wisely is better. Do we trust Fitt to spend it wisely? -
Open Window Throw Selection & Accuracy for QBs so far

Which is what I sort of originally asked: is it worth having him on the chart at all when it’s basically so few attempts? -

And when he does throw deep it’s inaccurate. We can’t win. -

When the poo have I mentioned Bryce’s size when throwing deep balls? I think I might not have mentioned his weight one time since we drafted him and I’m on record never caring about his height. Comments like that make you look like an asshole or ignorant… oh wait! -

The charts say, regardless of if they are open or not downfield, he’s not been accurate. -
The impressive throw you wanted from Bryce

Just pointing out Trevor wasn’t just in a bad scheme, he was in a toxic environment with Meyer. Bryce is not in that here. And you must be quoting the wrong person if you think I don’t give Bryce props when he does something good. Check out the game day threads, analysis threads, etc. I damn sure won’t be making excuses for poor performance or success. -

The charts that came out today said Mingo is in the top 5 in the entire NFL for uncatchable passes being thrown his way, and that Bryce Young is one of the 4 most inaccurate deep ball QBs in the NFL this year. If he hit two deep balls this week it would shut some folks up. -

Trevor is the #2 QB in the NFL through four games per PFF this season. Urban wasted his rookie year. -

So do we not throw deep passes because Bryce is basically one of the worst at it per these charts in all the NFL or is the list poo with little data? -
Oh because they play zero defense. They have no shot. Almost let Colorado come back on them. Oklahoma finished 10th two years ago after, USC finished 12th last year… 94th in defense last year. 60th the year before. Two years ago offense was 8ths last year offense was 3rd. Right now they are first in points per game and 63rd in defense. It’s the same story every year. This year they have one of the easiest schedules in college 119 of 133 in strength of schedule. Until they play defense they won’t be a real threat.

58% of the passes directed at Mingo have been deemed “uncatchable”. Also Ridder is killing Pitts and London lol

It’s all just delaying the inevitable. Chicago could just repeat and get the first overall pick again. Then he has to go there. 10 mil in NIL isn’t worth slowing down the pace to get to a second NFL contract. And that’s where the big money is. He also risks being injured and having his stock drop. He isn’t winning a Natty at USC so what would he be returning for? The endorsement deals if he hits big in Chicago is significantly greater than any NIL deal.

Why “get behind” Bryce but not get behind Frank or Tepper? And for the record, I am behind Bryce. I cheer him non stop during game day. I’m constantly in the game day thread talking him up, calling out the refs and doing generally what fans don’t support their teams. On Saturday and Sunday morning I hype the team and tell folks we are winning. I talk poo to my coworkers about The Bryce is Right, etc. But then Sunday night comes and we have a L, and he hasn’t played up to potential and then he was supposed to be in the best situation of the first round QBs and he’s done the worst. So I then move on to critiquing until Saturday or so. I always want to win and I always want our guys to dominate. But I’m not going to pretend that I’m not astounded by what CJ and Anthony are doing and I’m not going to pretend like I wasn’t the first one on here calling for us to go for CJ in a thread called “Suck Proud for Stroud” long before CJ even played against UGA. I don’t want to compare Bryce to eight year veterans so I compare him to the other rookies he was drafted in front of.
