  1. I’m fascinated by the potential story of Lincoln Riley coaching the Bears, bringing Caleb Williams with him and then drafting Marvin Harrison JR. He would obviously need to hire an actual for real for real coordinator for defense and not bring a friend with him. But it would be fun.
  2. At a soccer match so I missed it but he always seemed like a solid kid.
  3. Penn has blown almost everyone out. OSU has been in close games every week. If it’s tight I lean OSU but if Penn gets up early it’s going to be a blowout.
  4. Florida gets a bye this week. Georgia also gets one and then next week they get a bye when they play my sad Gators.
  5. Folks we are a week and 1 day from seeing what our new play caller can do!
  6. He’s top five in passing touchdowns this active season and he’s one of the best rushing QBs the league ever saw last season. It’s in there, he just needs to be more consistent. Or a restart somewhere else.
  7. Milton would be a wasted pick here. He has a big arm but not much else. I don’t know if we have the staff in place to develop a kid. We would need to bring in a vet.
  8. Bryce had mental struggles when he got to Alabama, right? And he’s experiencing losing in a big way now that he’s here in Carolina. I know this sounds soft or whatever but I don’t think it helps Bryce to be pushed by another young QB. We want to surround him in the QB room with vets. Also, why would Fields come here after seeing Frank call plays?
  9. I don’t think the league would allow any active player to have ownership in a team.
  10. Don’t sell low on the kid. He’s super talented when on the field. He couldn’t possibly miss more time than he already has. If he can come back and stay healthy the rest of the way we could move him in the offseason or extend him for cheap. He has no high dollar value on the market because he’s missed time every season.
  11. Lmao he has 104 career TARGETS. Tweeter didn’t pay attention to the column.
  12. Was expecting to see a thread about Caleb Williams asking for an ownership stake, was not disappointed.
  13. I could see us winning 3 of the next 4.
  14. If folks could stop talking poo about each other, and just focus on the arguments, we wouldn’t need to have conversations like this. That’s where I think mods could step in more.
  15. Holy hell Will Anderson has a crazy win rate despite that also crazy double team rate.
  16. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2023-nfl-trade-deadline-proposed-deals-marquise-brown-to-chiefs-brian-burns-to-ravens-and-13-other-moves/ Ravens acquire OLB Brian Burns Ravens get: OLB Brian Burns Panthers get: 2024 first-round pick, 2024 third-round pick Baltimore's homegrown pass rushers have struggled to stay healthy, and the Ravens could use a jolt as they try to keep hold of the tight AFC North. They're also unafraid to make an in-season splash (see: Roquan Smith). Burns is valued in Carolina, but without a long-term deal, his ability to net premium picks could be vital; the Panthers don't currently own a 2024 first-rounder. This deal would have course be dependent on Baltimore immediately inking Burns to a new contract. they also suggest we trade for Jeudy for a third and fifth: Panthers acquire WR Jerry Jeudy Panthers get: WR Jerry Jeudy Broncos get: 2024 third-round pick, 2024 fifth-round pick A year after Kadarius Toney was dealt for a three and a six, Jeudy could be the next mercurial first-rounder to relocate. While he represents Denver's only legit long-term WR prospect at 24, he's failed to hit his stride through three-and-a-half seasons. The Panthers desperately need younger help around QB Bryce Young. Imagine the irony if Jeudy joins Steve Smith's old squad.
  17. I get that take. I also don’t watch him anymore but it sort of surprised me how many folks make it sound like he’s the podcast version of scum of the earth lol
  18. Let’s just win the next one and go from there. Anything is possible but we would need a lot of balls to roll our way.
  19. Again, personal insults. Also, if you’re including me in that group: I’ve never pood any post without mine being pood first. Please discuss the actual thread instead of devolving things to attacking others.
  20. I think it’s a good idea and disingenuous to speak on behalf of everyone, my man.
  21. I don’t see the harm in it, honestly. Just like Reddit: sometimes you go to the safe space reddits to just … enjoy the thing… and other times you wade into more negative waters to see if you can have an actual discussion. Not always successful but that’s the idea if folks feel like this place is overrun with negativity.
  22. Love Sullivans content. I think his Patreon supporters get more plays broken down. There’s a lot of good happening and then there the bad. It’s a mixed bag. Which is to be expected at this point. The promising thing is he has indeed shown improvement every week. We just have to hope it continues. The deep ball attempts would be better if he at least gave Chark a chance to get pass interference but he was rushed. I don’t see what some folks see. Bryce CAN make every throw. That’s a fact. Bryce DOES have to be more precise with those throws other QBs can get away with. He doesn’t have a cannon or an above average arm. You don’t need one to win and it makes me question how much of the play calling has been limited by their deep ball success in practice. All in all… I see progress.
  23. THATS THE NAME. Oh my god I couldn’t remember it for the life of me. Appreciate you coming through in the clutch. Dude used to drive me mad but he was entertaining.
  24. We can probably just throw to AT 20 times a game. He’s open enough.
