  1. This. Also, if we claim to be aggressive and in on every conversation surrounding QBs it kind of forces the hand of some other teams that may be looking to trade up for a QB to get one of these instead of waiting for draft night and we eliminate some competition for a draft QB.
  2. All of these guys are still better than Teddy but that’s a rough contract and I’d hate to give up the 8th for him.
  3. I’ll bite. I didn’t believe Mitch should be drafted where he was. I also don’t believe he’s been given proper tools to succeed in Chicago because it seems like the higher ups in the organization don’t enjoy surrounding their QBs with legit pass catching talent. It’s been Allen Robinson and nothing of legit concern for the past couple years. When comparing Teddy and Mitch though…Mitch can get the ball in the end zone. Teddy simply doesn’t. Mitch had more passing touchdowns this year despite being benched and missing games. Give him CMC, DJ Moore and Robbie Anderson and I think he’s numbers look much better than Teddys. The issue is you’d have to get Mitch to come here on a prove it deal, while he likely would also have to know we are drafting a QB. We might be in on him but I can’t imagine this is the location he would choose to go if he was in the mood for settling on a low contract.
  4. The same can be said of any job specific interview but reporters often find the time to ask loaded questions while trying to get a click bait worthy quote. It happens all the time. Not just in sports.
  5. For most public figures giving a scripted speech is a lot simpler than having to answer questions you aren’t prepared for. Especially when reporters are trying to lead you towards certain answers.
  6. Look up any real long interview with him of 10 minutes or longer from his first year at OSU. I linked a random one about a page back and if you count how many times he stutters you’ll lose track after like the three minute mark. It’s almost every time he spoke. Most of his interviews are like this.
  7. Perdue Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets. The ones in the cold section but not frozen. Cant be frozen.
  8. Definitely not an offer I’m mad at.
  9. I’ve talked myself into any of the top 4. Outside of them the ceiling for the next tier of QBs drops significantly.
  10. If they protect him he’s elite. Could be a real scary team next year.
  11. I will ask him next time he’s in the area. In that interview alone from over a year ago he stutters right out the gate, and like four more times in the first minute and a half.
  12. I’m not a doctor to diagnose when he acquired it but I imagine he’s had it his whole life.
  13. I think there’s a stat out there showing most of Fields biggest plays came from his second or third read. He torched Clemson on second reads. I don’t believe Mac Jones had to make many reads. He called hike and Smith was open.
  14. Watch him on QB1 and then his interviews from around the Heisman push last season with Chase Young. He came across as very shy and stuttered pretty frequently. You can tell it’s something he recognizes because he was a lot better with it this season when doing zoom interviews.
  15. Justin Fields doesn’t enjoy talking in public because he has a stutter.
  16. So is thinking Teddy and Watson were equals. That’s your thing. That’s why I had added you to ignore. I think it’s perfectly reasonable to not take Huddlers at their word when they claim things like they had Herbert #1 and everyone pood him for it to want to verify that. Just like it’s perfectly fine to wonder who your last account was to know if it’s somebody you had on ignore to add them back on ignore.
  17. I think people here were just hoping the guy we hitched our wagon to would finally have that breakout season. Lessons learned.
  18. He’s been preaching about how great he was at analyzing the draft eligible players and how he was one of the few on Herbert being the best in class last year. He’s been preaching that Jones is the #2 this year. I wanted to take three minutes and verify he hit the home runs last year before giving him credit. His accounts don’t show what he’s claiming.
  19. Normal behavior for Newton. I don’t understand how he stays employed.
  20. LAST VISITED April 12, 2018 beerfaced wasn’t made until November 2020. You claimed this site killed you for suggesting Herbert was QB1 of the draft. That account didn’t make it to the 2020 draft. This account was made after the 2020 draft. Who were you from the end of April 2018 through the beginning of November 2020? Either you’re lying about your previous draft projections or you’ve made at least three accounts the past three years…
  21. What was the name of your last account before having to make another new one?
  22. If Jimmy G is healthy he’s better than Teddy. The problem is Jimmy G is rarely healthy. It’s only acceptable in my eyes if we also get a draft pick thrown in.
