  1. Grier actually looks alright running with better support. Let’s see PJ step up with less around him.
  2. It is but we shouldn’t penalize Wilson for completing passes. The only two rookie QBs rolling with their own 1s are Wilson and Lawrence and Wilson has looked better than Trevor so far.
  3. And his coaches didn’t pull him out for even a play to check on him.
  4. I’m all in on Darnold this year. I can’t take QB hell much longer.
  5. The entire current drive right now hasn’t been a single throw to the first read. The Bears starting line isn’t good. Their backup like is worse. You need time to make reads.
  6. It’s not the decision I would have made either. And no, nobody today would trade Fields for those two. I just was giving the reason I believe Rhule talked about.
  7. That should come back. He had a hand on it but that moved way too much.
  8. One of the top 4-5 teams in football the past couple years. If they get a thing or two to go their way they could find themselves playing for it all at the end of the season. Titans and Chiefs are the teams at the top with them in the AFC.
  9. The throw to Adams on second down that he dropped was terrific. The throw to James that he dove for was outstanding. He dirted a ball but the announcers said his arm was hit and he had a throw away. Nothing I’d be concerned about other than completely missing the incoming blitzer.
  10. The belief is it’s better bang for our buck for Darnold + Horn than just Fields.
  11. Andy Dalton now has two first downs through two games. Progress.
  12. If Sam Darnold starts the year with 1 TD and 5 INTs like PJ I’ll be calling for the backup to go in, too.
  13. This guy is on his like third alt now, right?
  14. He literally said "I work with PJ Walker so this will be the most biased review I've ever done".
  15. If you believe we will go 2-6 with Darnold and then go on a 6-0 run to get to 8-6 you are more than a dollar short. Most people here want Darnold to do well because that means we are winning games. Most people here know if Walker is our QB for 8-10 games this year we are looking for a new QB again.
  16. PJ is older then Sam and has worse efficiency numbers almost across the board. I don’t get the love. We all hope he can be a solid backup but even that’s not set in stone. He isn’t starter material at a 8.9% INT rate.
  17. Since you can’t get over Darnold’s past.. why are so accepting of PJs?
  18. If we had kept Teddy I really wanted us to push for a guy like Eason, Minshew, etc. somebody low cost on a rookie deal with potential. But teams typically don’t move cheap assets.
  19. Darnold was over 60% in 2019. Walker only has one career regular season game over 50% completions.
  20. Both players career numbers off their personal page on that site you linked.
  21. Sam Darnold averages the same yards per attempt as PJ at 6.6 Yard Per Attempt. Good, right? Sam Darnold averages 5.9 Air Yards Per Attempt. PJ Walker averages 2.9 Air Yards Per Attempt. Darnold is also two years younger than Walker. You are citing win-loss records like that isn't a team stat. Herbert isn't 1-0. Would you say Walker is better than Justin Herbert? Were you also on the Kyle Allen bandwagon when we were 4-0 with him as the starter? Thinking he was the next big thing at QB? C'mon.
  22. Sam averages an interception every 31 passing attempts. PJ averages one every 10 passing attempts. These are just facts.
  23. Apologies… I believe you started quoting XFL stats? In the NFL he has wildly different stats. Much worse than Darnold.
