Draft 3 was my favorite.

How dangerous is Willis as a runner? What makes him special?
Varking replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
Carson is not miles better. You also thought Trask was the second coming of Jesus. You are just looking at a stat sheet and ignoring everything else. Carson has not played against quality competition in college football except for one game his entire three years. Gardner Minshew completed over 70% of his passes his last year as well, carried his team and showed he could move and make people miss in college and in the pros now. 70% completions in college tells you nothing. What’s the context on these completions? -

He has a very strong arm but he is what you would get if Zach Wilson couldn't move at all. And behind our offensive line he is going to have to move a lot. People knock Willis and Lance for playing nobodies but Strong has basically played nobody for three seasons. In 2019 he played one team that was ranked and it was Oregon and he went 13 of 25 for 82 yards, 0 touchdowns and 2 picks. The rest of his three seasons he played? No games against real competition. -

He’s a second rounder at best and likely a third rounder in general. -
Its stupid to compare them. Stats in college only account for so much. 152 Completions on 270 Attempts = 56.3% Completion Percent. 16 Passing Touchdowns and 6 Interceptions. 94 rushes for 204 yards for a clip of 2.2 yards per carry. That was Josh Allen in college, playing against lesser competition. It doesn't matter who we draft with this coaching staff. We can't develop QBs.

There has been plenty of talk about Malik. And I personally don’t like any QB from this class but I’d rather roll with them then Darnold again.

Thought this was going to be about Jordan Love. I’d prefer Kenny over Jordan so this’ll work.

You being wrong is no victory. There was no battle. I was just correcting obvious misinformation.

Says the guy claiming he’s going to bring up future receipts lol

L because you were incorrect. Per usual. You might not like that he was drafted but it’s a fact he was. And he’s outplayed many first round “talents” while being on trash teams. You’re really out here being a drama llama because you had no clue what you were talking about?

Just take your L and move onto a other thread.

Minshew got drafted in round 6 by the Jags.

Who went undrafted?

I don't even think we would have to give that up. I think Philly would part with him for a 4th.

[Sheena Quick] Panthers interested in Eric Fisher

In on every deal. -
I would take Mariota or Minshew. I see no point in spending assets on anyone else, including the QBs in this class.

None of these moves matter without our franchise QB
Varking replied to Kraybrothers's topic in Carolina Panthers
Do any of these moves make the Panthers a better team which, would allow us to make this a more desirable location for a franchise QB? Then they do matter.- 52 replies

I’d hate it. I don’t think he’s going to be a good pro.

I’ve been hearing the Bears are the favorite for this one. -
Spelled Minshew wrong.
