  1. They got sources. And their drafts have been typically on point.
  2. I don’t work with them so I don’t know anything other than he’s been accurate on things and wrong on things just as much as any other analyst online
  3. Yeah under 20 worries me a little. This test isn’t a be all end all but those bottom scores aren’t solid.
  4. If Thibs is available when we pick I’d prefer him but completely understand going for a Tackle.
  5. For those who like this thing. Zappe 35 Howell 34 Willis 32 Strong 22 Ridder 19 Pickett 17 Corral 15
  6. Strong scored a 22 on his wonderlic today. Very Brees-like.
  7. Hey remind me what round we got Clausen in.
  8. I take it you just watch the box scores and not the actual games? There are few, if any starters in the NFL who throw with less velocity than Kyle Trask. Last year the Bucs could have activated Trask at any point and got him second team reps. Instead, they gave them to Gabbert all year long. Trask couldn’t beat out Gabbert to be the backup.
  9. How could he beat him when they were in any soft of competitive environment during the offseason?
  10. Even Arians said if Brady wasn’t back Trask would only be competing with Gabbert for the job. It wasn’t his. And if you are competing for the job with Gabbert, you aren’t a starting NFL QB. Pitts and Toney were borderline uncoverable in college. Look at how Trask looked in the Bowl Game without them.
  11. He earned the starting job at Florida, yes. Emory Jones and Franks sucked. But college is not the pros. And you talk about traits? Trask has a tremendously weak arm for the NFL. He had elite college talent around him in Toney and Pitts. Hell, Pitts, coming out of college, might be the greatest pass catching TE prospect of all time. He was a cheat code in college. Why did Trask get drafted as the last pick of the second round? Because Tampa thought it was worth the risk of having a young QB on the roster on a rookie contract. Trask is bigger, but that doesn’t mean he is better. Trask would not have played over Teddy, Cam or even likely Sam. The arm talent just isn’t there and in the NFL that leads to a lot of passes knocked down or picked. You have a type but that doesn’t make it right. We could not get a second for Sam right now, nope. But Trask couldn’t be traded for a second rounder either. The only reason you trade for Trask over Darnold is because of the $$$. But neither guy is an NFL starting QB caliber player. You tuned in for like four of Tracks games and Florida and now believe you are onto something. It’s foolish.
  12. 1. I never said Herbert wasn’t all that. I was pro Herbert and on draft day I thought we had a shot at him. 2. Trask won’t be anything. He got carried at Florida. There is no denying that. Solid college quarterback but he lacks fluidity in his movements, he’s slow, and he has one of the weaker arms in the NFL. Trask wouldn’t be playing over Teddy or Darnold either. 3. Carson Strong will not be the next Drew Brees. Stop comparing these college kids to Hall of Famers.
  13. Same Thibs and Burns would take the defense to another level.
  14. Drafting a lineman and getting Baker would be an upgrade.
  15. To be clear, their coach is not at all mediocre.
  16. I’m a Florida boy and a Gator homer and he wouldn’t listen to me.
  17. Who was high second round? Trask was the last pick of the second round.
  18. Murray has got better at throwing the football three years in a row. His worst season is still better than anything Teddy or Sam have done in their careers. We have spent stupid money on QBs the last three years but signing guys, cutting them and then bringing in somebody else while we were paying the guy we got rid of. At least with him we know we’d get some production.
  19. Dang. In this draft, at their slot, only Mays in the 7th seems like we are getting above slot value.
  20. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t think a tradition that has lead to zero back to back winning seasons is something to stress over.
