  1. I see what folks are saying about WR not being our biggest need, however, I want us focused on the offensive side of the ball. At all costs. We don’t need a LT or RT or RB but I want us to draft the QB first and then after that best available player at C, LG, RG, TE ( pass catching ) and WR. Give the young guy coming in every chance to succeed and we can figure out more of the defense as we go. Or who knows, maybe the defense would look better if they weren’t constantly on the field?
  2. He will stay another year and he won't be transferring.
  3. Not paying running backs and replacing them with other late round backs. I know you’re just trying to be funny.
  4. It works for the Bears. Montgomery doesn’t look the same and Herbert looks like a stud. Monty will walk at the end of the year and his replacement is there. Bears will keep drafting RBs in round 5 and rotating them. It’s like the Steelers and WRs
  5. When he’s on the field he’s one of the most talented players but he’s often off the field. This sucks.
  6. Where we will pick it’ll be hard to justify a WR.
  7. Fields will be fine. But those guys, even Justin Fields, are not CJ Stroud. Joe Burrow went to OSU for 3 years. Then he went to LSU for 2 where both schools have produced trash QBs... yet he is fine. Oregon has produced many trash QBs yet Herbert is fine....
  8. If we drafted Anthony Richardson in this draft why would we pair him with Cam Newton? We want to teach him accuracy. I am all in with CJ Stroud right now. And for those dogging Fields... he has one of the worst group of weapons in the NFL, a very young and not touted offensive line ( 3 of the starters are first or second year players. His two tackles are 5th round draft picks from last year and this years draft class ) ad his right guard is a guy who was drafted to be a left tackle and couldn't win the job, and he is paired with a defensive minded coach. And yet, it seems like the game is slowing down for him and he is started to get it. He has a #2 WR to throw to and the other guys would all be 4 or 5s on other teams, or were so bad they didn't crack the starting five. But also, its silly to bash Stroud because you don't like a previous QB there. Tua and Jalen are different types of QBs and Mac Jones is different than both of them. LSU has brought a lot of trash to the NFL ( as has OSU ) and yet, Joe Burrow spent 3 years at OSU and 2 at LSU and went to a Super Bowl in year 2. Writing off a QB because of a completely different QB at the same school is lazy thinking.
  9. You take CJ because he has Burrow qualities and is having a Burrow year but doing it a few years younger. He is currently on pace to have the all time efficiency rating as a passer.
  10. Damn, I thought this was going to be a thread about Gardner Minshew.
  11. The 25 year old by the time he gets drafted?
  12. To me it’s Stroud or Levis and I lean towards Stroud. If not these two then I guess it’s tank for another year to find next years crop.
  13. Devonte Adams and Tyreek Hill are in a class above DJ Moore. Like in 2022 alone Adams has 5 TDS already. That’s more than DJ has had in any one season. Hills lowest scoring total was 6 tds as a rookie. DJ has never had more than 4 in a year. Scoring outweighs yardage totals. Adams is a red zone threat who can gut people deep. Hill is a game wrecker. DJ Moore isn’t on that level yet.
  14. You could realistically expect a 2nd and a 5 for Moore and a 4th or something in that ballpark. How many teams want to trade for WRs right now though? The only standouts are Greenbay and Chicago. Green Bay is a WR from being a playoff team and Chicago needs Mooney to go back to being a 2 and it would give Justin Fields 2 NFL caliber WRs. Texans could be another team with picks to give but then it’s a money issue for them.
  15. Big no to Lazor for offensive coordinator.
  16. You love to see it. Look, in another bad year I will take all the glimmers of hope I can get. The talent is there. The production is there. He just needs to stay on the field.
  17. So here is the issue. We need to save our draft picks and New Orleans is certainly going to ask us for those to let SP come here if thats what he wanted.
  18. Yeah at this point I am ok with it. Whatever QB we fall in love with its time to go get them. No more retreads from other teams. No more hoping our mid to late rounders blossom into something startable. Go get the high talent folks from college while we still have some talent on this team.
  19. It’s a shame whats happened with Rattler. I thought he’d be the one from this class to stand out and it’s just never clicked for him.
  20. All aboard the CJ Stroud bandwagon ( or insert any other QB you fancy ).
  21. The only news I wanted to read today!
