  1. Been saying for weeks that this past week through the Bears are all winnable games. Let’s go win them.
  2. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2023/04/03/2023-nfl-draft-panthers-bears-trade-dj-moore-brian-burns-derrick-brown/ https://www.profootballnetwork.com/dj-moore-trade-details-revisiting-bears-panthers-nfl-2023/ Just Google “Bears would have accepted Burns or Brown instead of DJ Moore”. There’s tons of articles on it.
  3. I don’t think he needs Dalton to be mentored. He has former QBs on the coaching staff. At least two of them.
  4. If you look around the league usually when the rookie QB or first year coach gets their first win they end up in the locker room giving out a game ball to one of them. Seeing Frank give the ball to Brown was very wholesome.
  5. Post where you documented all these ratings
  6. It doesn’t matter. If Bryce gets hurt the season is over. This whole season is about him. Our backup QB should be traded if we can get something for him.
  7. From what I understood the Bears were open to Brown, Burns or DJ. DJ was the prize but they would have taken Brown or Burns if the other assets going to them were right.
  8. It was fine. They lucked out because the second defender coming in late didn’t hit him, he went over the other defender. The first defender wasn’t late though.
  9. If Bryce gets hurt the season is over anyway. Trade Dalton.
  10. Bagent last week got the second least air yards per attempt all time in a win. The Raiders could do nothing to stop the run or the screens. That is all they did all game. It was a gameplan any QB could have succeeded in. Tonight hasn't been there and the games been a lot harder on him. Already threw a pick. Had a big gain to start the game and then its been a lot of nothing since.
  11. I am with you. I am trying to find examples of college WRs not putting up big numbers in college and then having really good long careers that weren't things like a QB switching to WR in the NFL.
  12. Yup. But with this "blow up" he is averaging the following: 3.16 catches a game on 5.67 targets per game, for 32.5 yards per game. 552.5 yards for the year on 96.39 targets and 53.72 catches is what he is on pace for. This doesn't seem bad but when you compare it to the other rookie WRs he's sandwiched between its not as good. But this is his first game over 50 yards and he still has no TDs so we are hoping his performance today was a sign of greater things.
  13. Forgot to add, I do think we were more creative today when we weren't in the red zone but the more I rewatch the game right now the more I see almost every one of the best plays of the day was somebody on the offensive line whiffing on a block, Bryce having to roll out and make something happen and bail out the line and the play call. I am at the half but I don't see many plays called that were just run how it was supposed to be run and it got a guy open and Bryce was able to drop back and rip it and let the WR get YAC. We had like 3 of those all game. I think folks are happy with the end result but they would be looking at it with a much more critical eye if the Texans score once more and win this game.
  14. I had a thread titled "Suck Proud for Stroud" after like the fourth college game last season lol
  15. Would support. Cohen seems like a good kid so I would love to see him get a chance but I think this team will keep him buried with Sanders, Hubbard and Blackshear on the roster. One of them would have to be injured and I think he would suite up. Two of them getting dinged up and he would get in. Agreed.
  16. I don't see Cohen ever making the game day roster on this team unless there are a flurry of injuries on offense.
  17. That is where its confusing because I was the leader of wanting to draft Stroud over Bryce and I have not been out here shitting on him after this game. I haven't written one bad thing about him. Like I said earlier I think folks are just getting lumped in with others unfairly.
  18. 224 total yards is the least amount of yards we have had in any game. 15 points offensively was the 3rd worst offensive output we have had. Bryce and the defense stepped up today.
  19. I think most folks have been respectful and there hasn't been a tremendous amount of trolling.
  20. Show me where this is accurate about me since he is quoting to me and you are replying to him. I literally celebrated our win here, on reddit and in discord. I was complementary about Bryce on all three platforms as well. So please show me where I would rather be right than see this teams QB in a better light. I had nothing bad to say about Bryce in this game. The only thing I questioned on offense at all was playcalling.
  21. Why wouldn't I like the answer? I've always said even if Stroud turns out to be an all-timer it won't bother me so long as Bryce is the long term answer here. I think sometimes because I am a big believer in Stroud I get lumped in with folks who are over the top about Stroud and folks respond to me with things that are off base. Not pointing to you specifically but it happens fairly often here. I am not anti-Bryce by any means.
