I know folks aren’t super high on him here but if we drafted him over Horn we would likely have a better outlook right now and fans would be happier.

I think the plan was to run him a bit more today but after the hip injury they went with a very conservative game plan. There is no point having a guy this athletic on the Field and not using his legs more in a meaningful way unless he is hurt. I know earlier in the season when he was dinged up they intentionally stopped running him because we have no depth behind him. Our #2 is supposed to be Jack Miller but he is hurt and I don’t think Napier can trust Kitna in big moments yet. We would like to break him in easier. And we have more competition at the position coming soon in Rashada and HOPEFULLY Lagway here soon.

Are you high? When have I ever graded anyone on one game? I asked if you if it was concerning that he couldn’t throw accurately against the Florida Gators. I am not even mad we lost. I didn’t think we were even going to be this competitive today. I said as much last week and the week before. Sometimes it’s like folks here just throw poo at the wall and hope it sticks. And I don’t do it off of one game and when I watch footage of them playing I definitely use context who who they have around them, who they are playing, who is making the plays happen, who is making them fail, coaching, mechanics, arm strength, etc. But again, FSU actually has a good defense. Florida does not. You said he played good tonight. He completed 43% of his passes against Florida on 30 attempts. This isn’t our 2000-2001 defense. We were giving up 28 points a game before tonight. He ran great tonight. There is no excuse for a team missing four tackles on one play against a QB in their backfield.
