  1. In the first? No thanks. But he is a great talent and I’d be comfortable rolling the dice on him in the second round. Interviews will tell you if he’s been humbled or not. I haven’t heard any horror stories of him being a bad teammate since high school.
  2. I’m all in on drafting a QB high in the draft and developing him. I am super off of bring in retread QBs from other teams. Am I cool with Stroud? Yes.
  3. Weird thing to call me when I’ve been asking for us to draft Stroud. I was saying I’d rather go with Corral than draft another small project QB late like Travis.
  4. Almost everyone looks impressive against the Gator defense the past four years. Mullen killed us. He is on the smaller side for sure, it’s his fifth year of college ball and he threw for just over 20 TDS this year. Those runs he did against Florida are sacks in the NFL. I’d rather keep Corral over him than invest another 4th-7th in a QB. Either get one in the first or rock with Matt next year.
  5. He’ll be available late. This was his fifth year of college ball, is on the smaller side and hasn’t had that one year to blow you away yet, still.
  6. Looks like the Bears offense didn’t miss Fields today. Averaging roughly 30 points a game over his last five and today they put up a whopping…. *checks notes* 10 points. Oh and Trevor Lawrence lead his team to victory over the Ravens today. So while Lance and Wilson aren’t doing hot, Fields and Lawrence are showing progress over year 1. This is why we need our guy.
  7. Anybody can claim to have connections. Nobody I’ve spoken to, or read from online, have suggested Richardson staying in school. The team has campaigned for it but they are already targeting specific players in the transfer portal and a starting QB is one of them. Local to NC.
  8. He did this before , before falling off. We’ve seen too many guys come in and be hot for a game or two before coming back down to earth.
  9. Rumors after the game from a bunch of sources are saying Florida is confident he is declaring.
  10. USC just needs to beat the one time again that beat them already in Utah and they should be in. Winning your conference championship should matter.
  11. I hear you but a developing QB adds excitement to the franchise. A corner who is lockdown for the games he does play in, but is making a habit of missing games, wasn’t worth passing on a first round QB yet.
  12. Not him specifically, but that we passed in first round QBs when we have a need for them. And while we can clown Jones, he’s head and shoulders above anything we’ve trotted out on the field the last few years.
  13. Fun game from a watcher standpoint. There’s a lot of dudes open that are being overthrow at the moment and hopefully the QBs can settle down.
  14. I’m less frustrated about the QBs who we could have had if we tried to lose more, and more upset over passing on guys like Fields and Jones who went after we picked and chose a CB.
  15. I’m not so sure. Is a loss to the #3 team in the country worse than USC losing to Utah? And USC beat Oregon State 17-14, Arizona 45-37, UCLA 48-45. They have been in much tighter games all season really. It could be a toss up and I would be ok with either one getting in.
  16. This is what I said earlier. All the big predictors seem to believe OSU and Michigan are in regardless of how the game turned out today. We will have to see after championship week.
  17. Somebody compared him to Stroud and then claimed Fields is getting no better as a passer from last year lol
  18. I just dont appreciate when folks make stuff up.
  19. A lot of guys who go from east to west in college ball look real good: Nix, Penix, Minshew, Eason, Williams, etc.
