Florida is about to be shutout for the first time in over 400 games. Longest in CFB history. We have no run game and Miller can’t complete much today.

Jack Miller with all of our receivers healthy minus Shorter against Oregon State: 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. 8 of 15 passing for 72 yards. WRs have dropped two passes, he overthrew a wide open guy once, and he threw two passes near the sideline that should have been picked twice. In the second quarter he led our offense to 2 yards. The least we have had in any quarter since 2006. Again, he’s 8 of 15 and that includes a stretch where he was 6 of 6 at one point. Miller is no slouch. He was a top QB recruit out of high school, 4 star and was at Ohio State before coming here. Richardson was absolutely the spark to our offense.

To be clear, Florida can’t do anything offensively without Richardson out there right now. This is getting ugly. His stock goes up by not playing and showing how poor we are without him.

I read this morning Apple wanted to add it to Apple TV+ at no additional charge to TV+ subscribers. Meaning they would have eaten the chunk of the cost. Wish Apple would have won.

Firstly, He’s not going to get a large or medium sized contract. Teams are fully aware you don’t pay running backs large sums of money anymore unless they look generational and then you have to hope their health holds up. He isn’t generational. Secondly, even if he wanted a big contract the market won’t allow for it this year. The Bears have like 120 million in cap space and then second is Atlanta I think at 71 million and then every else is under 60. That’s not a ton of cap room for running backs. Thirdly, he’s in an awful year to be a running back hitting the market. This upcoming RB Free Agent Class is absolutely stacked and he’d be valued at like the number 10-15 running back. Look at it. He can’t command a big deal. 3 million a year for 2-3 years is what he’s going to get.
