    Obviously if Tepper can't magically make assistant GMs not interested in GM jobs he's a failure as an owner. He should make everyone so happy that they turn down promotions.

    Yeah why can't Tepper be more of a meddling owner? He would surely be deeply beloved and not at all resented if he tried to play GM, just ask MJ about that.

    There as an impossibly fine line between being mad at an owner for meddling in team building and being mad at an owner for not being more involved.

    My personal theory is that the only way Cam is not our starter next season is if he's backing up Deshaun.

    To anyone poo pooing this - what's the down side? Cam has a foundational role in franchise history and we currently have PJ fuging Walker slotted to start. If Cam will take the job, there is literally no down side to keeping it from him. No one more qualified is walking through the door.
