  1. Moving the team is not even worth the discussion that fans have. Even the worst most embarrassing team is profitable for the city. The Cleveland Browns in 2015 were worth $1.5B, and are now worth $5.1B. An NFL Franchise is absolutely a luxury to have.
  2. I'm also curious WHY it needed to be announced to start the week. Why tell the opponent early who to prepare for?
  3. Well last season was bad if I recall, but this season he was lighting it up against the Jets in camp. So I'm surprised he looks this bad to start.
  4. Wow I forgot about the Jets practice; that was a catalyst for a lot. I'd actually be curious to hear what their players think of his benching.
  5. Right; plus I think even if Bryce did look bad, you had to give him at least 2 regular season games to see for sure. So I applaud the FO for at least giving him a shot. I will go on record saying I want Bryce to succeed, hopefully he can figure it out.It would be an amazing story if he could be an elite player here down the line.
  6. So now in hindsight, seeing just how horrible our offense looks...how bad does that decision look not to get more looks at Bryce and the starters in the preseason? Maybe we could've made this decision before having an 0-2 start. The one good game against the Bills was what I hoped Bryce needed for some gift wrapped confidence; but that clearly didn't translate. I hope going forward we actually let our rookies and starters get a few reps in those 'meaningless' games.
  7. Great point, I'm hoping if Bryce doesn't have a great game he has a horrible game this week. Maybe then we at least give Dalton a look. This team isn't without talent, especially on Offense. Dalton starting from Week 1 at least could at least have you fighting for a wild card spot in those last few weeks.
  8. I was going to start this same thread yesterday lol; I grew up a die hard fan watching every season. Now that I'm older, and have other priorities, and a job that I am looking for a break from 5 days out of the week. It just doesn't feel like a great ROI watching this team feeling my mood sink with each game. I'll always be a supporter/fan as a Charlotte native, but I can't justify spending 3+ hours of my only days off feeling myself get annoyed. If we were losing but competitive, with some high flying plays I'd be all for it. But this is just a miserable experience.
  9. I remember during the Jimmy Clausen days watching us struggle to even get a single 1st down. I've felt that's the bar for the worst play I've seen. As time went on I forgot about those days a bit, and almost wondered if I even exaggerated how bad we were. Then came this Bryce Young led team. I have that same exact feeling I had back then, where even just getting a first down feels like a breath of miraculous fresh air. 3 & Outs are the absolute norm, and we can barely get a play over 6 yards. So I'm curious does this horrible experience surpass that of Clausen, or even the 1-15 Panthers teams for you yet? I will also throw in the variable that is our horrible owner Tepper, his name should not go without mention.
  10. Probably 5th or 6th at best; maybe get a performance based pick. Either way I'm all for cleaning house for the future at this point.
  11. Where he is trending is a resounding yes, trade included.
  12. I don't think I can watch any more of this. It's just not even entertaining, it's literally miserable.
  13. We are getting off season threads in Week 2 this is an all time low. I also think this is hilarious, so thank you for this laugh.
  14. I appreciate this delusional optimism, because I absolutely do not want to go through what I went through yesterday all season. It is also embarrassing for NC, and I hate to see it represent the state. So here's to seeing vast improvement, and some pride next week.
  15. Sometimes that's the weirdest and worst part. When you watch us and all of our inefficiencies and incompetence... and then flip the channel to see the Lions and Rams just doing what they want on offense moving the ball, and the defense flying around making plays. You remember "wow, that's what good football looks like" lol
  16. Yeah yesterday really sucked. I've had detachment for a while since we let go of Cam, but I decided to root for Bryce and the new regime once he was drafted. This game felt worse than anything from last year, because it was the season opener. I think many of us hoped at minimum we would show progress from last years low level team. Somehow we actually managed to play worse, and ruin any excitement we had...in a matter of 8 plays lol It's a long season, so I'll continue to tune in, but it's looking like I'll be able to enjoy a few other activities on Sundays going forward this year.
  17. I mean to be fair when I watched Levis very briefly last year he was letting it fly with ease out of the gate. He had a rocket lol
  18. Haha I didn't see how he performed specifically; but I did see after a lot of bad plays on Defense he was the clear leader telling them to step up.
  19. To both of these points I also wonder with his hybrid/athletic persona coming out of college what he would've done with better coaches and teams around him. A team where he's not looked to be the anchor and can just roam around free to make plays.
  20. I'm just curious to see how Shaq Thompson is viewed amongst fans for his tenure with the org. I'd seen someone say he's the last of the 'Keep Pounding Era', and Shaq has definitely had longevity and some bright moments here. What say you? How would you define his career as a Panther?
  21. I'm very fine with Bryce and the offense sitting now. Literally all that I wanted out of Bryce today (and this preseason) was to show some confidence, put something on film to work on, and hopefully build some momentum heading into the season. Box checked
