Lost all interest in the NFL thanks to the Panthers
PantherBoy95 replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah yesterday really sucked. I've had detachment for a while since we let go of Cam, but I decided to root for Bryce and the new regime once he was drafted. This game felt worse than anything from last year, because it was the season opener. I think many of us hoped at minimum we would show progress from last years low level team. Somehow we actually managed to play worse, and ruin any excitement we had...in a matter of 8 plays lol It's a long season, so I'll continue to tune in, but it's looking like I'll be able to enjoy a few other activities on Sundays going forward this year. -
S Fowler ‘not sure Young will ever work out’
PantherBoy95 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean to be fair when I watched Levis very briefly last year he was letting it fly with ease out of the gate. He had a rocket lol -
Haha I didn't see how he performed specifically; but I did see after a lot of bad plays on Defense he was the clear leader telling them to step up.

Official Panthers at Saints Game Day Thread

SNAP THE F*CKING BALL! -
To both of these points I also wonder with his hybrid/athletic persona coming out of college what he would've done with better coaches and teams around him. A team where he's not looked to be the anchor and can just roam around free to make plays.

I'm just curious to see how Shaq Thompson is viewed amongst fans for his tenure with the org. I'd seen someone say he's the last of the 'Keep Pounding Era', and Shaq has definitely had longevity and some bright moments here. What say you? How would you define his career as a Panther?

I'm very fine with Bryce and the offense sitting now. Literally all that I wanted out of Bryce today (and this preseason) was to show some confidence, put something on film to work on, and hopefully build some momentum heading into the season. Box checked

Panthers release 2024 jersey schedule
PantherBoy95 replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
I bought an infant Jeremy Chinn jersey the other day; it was $13 and I figured at the very least they can rep the Panthers on gameday for a little while at that price. -
I've noticed with fans they are always over expecting depending on what side of the fence we're on. Panthers Fans Trading Jaycee Out -Potential All-Pro Shut Down Corner should easily go for two 1st Rounders! Panthers Fans Trading for a Jaycee type player -He's made of glass, they should be grateful for our 4th and a conditional 6th

lol I admit I am consciously reminding myself not to overreact just yet ; I just would've liked some fun high flying pre-season football in case we're going to get back to losing in the regular season lol

Bryce Young won't play in preseason opener
PantherBoy95 replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah I'm basically with you; but I do believe in letting these guys do their jobs. I have absolved myself of getting too attached now, so however it goes this year I'll be having fun watching football on Sundays -
Bryce Young won't play in preseason opener
PantherBoy95 replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
Very disappointed Bryce won't be getting any reps. But I'll have some faith in Canales until he gives me a reason not to. -
Dan Morgan speaks with Luke and Kay Adams
PantherBoy95 replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've never heard Luke speak so much, and tell such an animated story. I'd love to see more of this out of him! -
Xavier Legette left practice early with lower leg injury
PantherBoy95 replied to PantherBoy95's topic in Carolina Panthers
You may be right; but I didn't make it up lol, earlier there were a few tweets that mentioned a cart. https://x.com/Callihan_/status/1820123241526268200 -
He can be 5'2 if he can get us wins this year.

I was thinking the same; it's not on Tepper directly per se; but as a business owner you will always have to answer for these situations. Because it does still boil down to hiring the right security staff, having the correct protocol in place for an event of this magnitude. Again, people are going to blindly put all of the blame on Tepper just bc of his history lately. But also there is proactive planning that has to be done to make sure these things don't get out of hand. That's just the nature of being the owner of a company both sadly and rightfully at times.
-
Right definitely, I just wonder what cog in the machine was the worst that messed it up. Tepper that bad/meddling of an owner, Fitterer that bad of a GM, Reich that bad of a coach? I guess it's not an either/or answer, and we got the lucky combination of all 3 'stars' aligning lol. Either way, I'm definitely excited about what I've seen from the team this offseason. I just hope it translates to one thing in the end..

Man, you bring up an amazing talking point. I remember thinking that though we didn't have the players we definitely had one of the best coaching staffs on paper. I figured that would translate to a great system where we could finally cycle in players year in and year out with sustained success. I was wrong after Year 1.
