One thing with records these days along with others noting how the game has changed, there's an extra game in the season, which TMac was able to take advantage of. While it doesn't help us at all, it has been nice today not to just feel like a typical homer fan blaming a loss on the refs. I think we needed to show up better in many ways. But seeing many former players (Chad Ochocinco, Stephon Gilmore, etc.), current analysts, media members, and meme accounts posting about how the refs were horrible towards the Panthers last night gives me some very tiny sliver of comfort. That Saints game was so disappointing on another level. To have the division lead in your hands after years and years of being abysmal, and to lose it to a 3-10 team (who got one win on us)...I can't even put that into words. I'll root for us to make it to the playoffs. But games like that make it hard for me to believe we deserve it..or more importantly will show up when it's time to dance.

We just have to win.

Is this some kind of record for flags thrown in a Panthers game? I don't believe I've ever seen this before. It literally feels like there's a flag every 2 or 3 plays.

I was wondering the same myself earlier this year. I think this should be strongly considered in the off-season.

The thing I remember about Carr the most is seeing him literally just take off running straight backwards. I've never seen anything like it. I was younger then, so that's when I believed if you could get a former #1 pick you could probably just rehab him. (i.e. the Sam Darnold resurgence that ironically made a pit stop in Carolina)

I was telling someone today; if we can really get both guys going and tire out the defense, and also open up the passing game for Bryce...it will be a long day for a lot of teams facing us. It's just about actually executing that lol
