  1. I got sucked into the same thinking yesterday...crazy what one win will do lmao.
  2. It bothers me so much that the staff knew if they turned down the Rams picks they viewed Burns as a centerpiece. Yet they don't want to pay him that way, and now we're going to get much less than those picks smh.
  3. If he's ready or near ready to go I'm all for it! But if he'll just be resting on the practice squad when needed he can go somewhere else lol (idk if he does scout team or anything which I know is very important) But I agree we need to figure out a lot of positions...so many I literally just got annoyed trying to think of which holes to mention first and how we'll do it.
  4. I agree with that, and I guess if the plan is to hold him there bc he's 80% done getting his body ready cool. But if you sign a guy, and when he's needed he can't be called on I don't see the point. His ceiling based on history (I could be wrong) is just above average. So with that, why not just go sign another HEALTHY just above average guy lol.
  5. While I agree...in that case, why sign him?
  6. I feel like I've been vouching for you in all of these threads with zero background...but man, seeing this in action it's definitely worth it. This is a great thread. I'm just excited to really see Bryce develop, I just truly want to have faith in him. I hope that he will become a Hall of Fame QB, and bring Charlotte a few rings...that would be the dream man.
  7. I don't know the original context, and don't follow the OP enough to know his 'trolling' habits or lack thereof. But it's just crazy to me that if people don't want a positive only thread, they won't just click around this one. It's literally one thread lol. I would say I think it's a good idea bc we're 0-6. But even if we were 5-1, I like the idea that there is at least ONE corner of the Huddle where you would be able to go and just see good uplifting things about the team. No it's not 'even football discussion' but there are literally over 50 pages where you can do that, or even just vent on Twitter, or to your dog. Let people have one nice thing, even if hypothetically it originates from some trolling a*hole.
  8. Hahaha I actually opened this expecting to see a good things (which can be good mentally at this point); silly me.
  9. You have to step up or get rid of it at that point. And yet another f'ing dump off.
  10. I always hated that they were saying publicly "we haven't really talked about who it will be much." Arguably the most important pick in Franchise History...and you're waiting until the last minute to make sure you're on the same page sounds like a recipe for disaster. Though I'd hope that's not how it truly went lol
  11. Trust me I mentioned the 6 fingers, but I'm not one of those people that thinks "haha it has 6 fingers, AI is so dumb". Right now it's in such early stages that I can't even fathom what it will be in even 5 years. The written things will be so hard to tell at some point. It'll have enough data, and opinions on Bryce, Reich and Tepper to form a cohesive counter-argument...and have enough wit to throw in a yo mamma joke if it wants lol. Don't mean to turn this into a tech talk but yeah it's all crazy.
  12. lol I know that it can get to a level where it could read our responses, and come up with an articulate (and fact based) response based on data. You could even program it to take on our style of writing so that it blends in. It's pretty wild. That picture is amazing, it did have 6 fingers though. But I'm sure in time they'll correct the flaws.
  13. This may have been mentioned already; but Cam had 2 good RBs, a great TE, and some very average but overperforming WR's. On top of that, we had one of the if not THE best Defenses in the league...idk that I'd really compare the two.
  14. lol damn I feel crazy bc I don't see why people are responding this way. You basically said in a longer way "Every great, had a great team around them to win." Which I'd say when you look at the history of sports give or take a few anomalies largely riings true. I do still want to see much more out of Bryce (20 yard throws would be nice lol), but I'd be curious to know how he'd look with a decent running game, a real WR1 threat, and some protection.
  15. If your rookie QB is allowed to change the play to only throw it within a 15 yard window while we have yet to win a game....I'd still end up saying we have bigger problems than at QB.
  16. I will say this; Rhule was losing but his team was showing fight every game that first season. Let's hope Reich can at least show the same as the season goes on. (and maybe call a time out as the clock is dwindling down.)
  17. I don't even think he said that; these clickbait accounts have been doing closed captions that get people riled up a LOT lately.
  18. It's kind of funny that that's how the NFL works. There's always someone that has a random tough injury that we didn't even know about in game.
  19. I'm sure it's been posted in the other 5 pages (that I won't read through lol) . At first I agreed, even pied the post. But one thing I've had to even tell myself is Cam had a LOT more weapons his first year than what Bryce has. DeAngelo, Stew, Olsen, Shockey, and Steve Smith... I'll take that crew over this one any day of the week. But Cam definitely put on a show his first game better cast or not. I'm just glad Bryce doesn't seem at all rattled.
  20. The man is playing (and well), and has consistently shown up to practice since this all happened. If the worst thing he's done is some pretty chill but direct IG posts about what we already know him to feel... who gives a damn.
  21. I'm glad you said the last line bc that's what I came in here to say. The losing definitely plays a large role, but also as I personally got older I just realized how much time I dedicate to a sport that I'm not being paid for. Instead I could be using my time getting things done, doing something else cool, or being with loved ones. I'm on my couch tuned in 90% of the time, but the 10% of the time I have to be pulled away I'm not as upset as when I was an obsessed pre-teen lol
  22. At this point I think the thing to remember is that as these injuries add up, your body (unless truly healed I'm guessing) begins to overcompensate in other areas. You see it all the time with these guys.
  23. So we released Kobe & Michael Jordan in the same day??? This franchise will never see the glory days lol
