My problem is the fact this team traded up to #1 and gave up the house for a chance to draft a 5'10 QB or a QB who had intelligence concerns. Go get Lamar Jackson and give him the Watson deal if you want to throw away 3 1sts. Screw the salary, Browns sure aren't getting killed by Watson and he's out!

I love how they make Bryce throw 30-50 times a game when he is clearly struggling and this should be a run first football team. I'd rather give up 30 instead of 17 and have an offense that has a chance to win a shootout, something this team never had other then 2015. We gave up 30 anyway because the offense gives them points because they neglect is so badly.

And the team that took him intended to take Bryce Young if he was available. Teams interview these players too, it's not like we were the only team in the NFL to show concern.

Love how this team invests 80% of their assets into defense and whenever the neglected offense puts us back in the game, they ALWAYS give up a touchdown. Good thing we didn't give the Bears Derek Brown over DJ Moore. Sick of this obsession in this franchise of becoming the old Pittsburgh Steelers. The problem isn't Young, it's investing way too much into defense when offenses in the modern NFL are too good; every defense is going to give up 17-23 points, I don't care how good your defense is. This team looks different with DJ Moore (not saying winning season, but we wouldn't be 1-8).

As ticked as people are, hindsight is a bitch, and nobody knows if the Texans are having to run a simplified playbook for Stroud that will eventually get figured out. There's multiple sources saying the Texans would've made the same pick at #1 as us. I don't care how good Stroud looks now, that Wonderlic score was ridiculous and the team was right to question if he had the intelligence to play in the NFL.

My main thought in my mind going into Sunday is Frank Reich is in a lose lose situation. 1. The offense does well and we win under better play-calling. Bryce outplays C.J. Stroud He looks like an idiot because we would be 1-6 and his poor play-calling and clock management would be a large reason why. 2. Nothing changes and we are 0-7 with no 1st round pick.
