La'el, meet Kal-El...

Under the Skin is very David Lynch-esque and artsy... but I liked it... Lucy is okay for an action flick or whatever, but the science behind it and all is pretty bad... I was unimpressed...

I bet he shoots a lot of robots... pew pew

Part of my problem, I think, is that I just never really liked any of the Avengers... even in the comics... Hulk was okay, but: Thor - some god from another realm with a dumb outfit and a magic hammer Iron Man - a cocky rich prick Captain America - kinda jingoistic tbqh Hawkeye - okay, he is pretty cool but his outfit is stupid and the movie kinda made him irrelevant, plus his weaponry is a little dated Black Widow - meh

FWIW I slept through the first Avengers movie. I'm kind of bored with Marvel's stuff lately. They need to step up.

You're already going to see a lot of post-ADWD/AFFC stuff this season... The only real thing bugging me about this season is that they have pretty much abandoned anything and everything Greyjoy... Yara appears to make three episodes later in the season, but I don't see Balon as listed at all... I was a little bored with the Iron Islands stuff in the books at one point in AFFC, but they picked up nicely... We've only had a mention, IIRC, of the "Greyjoy uncles" and all signs so far seem to indicate they don't even plan on casting them anytime soon. I liked the Jon Snow/Janos Slynt execution scene... I'm pretty sure we'll see the Stone Men soon... I also think we get to see more of the Night's King (official/unofficial name for the White Walker we saw touch the baby back in S2 or S3 (I can't recall when it was) later on this season... So we will definitely be going into Winds of Winter territory (or further) with that...

My thoughts are that Jon will go to Hardhome with wildlings(Tormund included) and some of the Night's Watch to try to rally them to come to Stannis' aid for his northern aspirations (Winterfell primarily) and to actually help hold the wall... Rattleshirt will be in command there... The wildlings will try to take the aggressive route but Tormund will step in and side with Jon... They make it back to Castle Black days after Stannis has departed and left Davos and Mel behind...Jon gets the pink letter (or bastard letter) and decides that he will head south in hopes of taking Winterfell... He offers that the wildlings or any of the watch is free to join him and then we get the "For the watch" moment... Not sure on the LF front... He is playing the hardest game of all... In fact, he could have sent the pink letter to Jon in order to get the NW, etc. to do his dirty work for him as far as cleaning out Winterfell...

supposedly people are taking it as Rolly Duckfield reference... If Rolly Duckfield made it, then you are probably going to see the Griffs as surprise, unannounced castings... FWIW I think, if anything, it could just be some trolling... I mean, Lena Headey posted a pic last year of a bunch of stones in the shape of a heart, and people thought she was hinting at Lady Stoneheart... I'm not getting my hopes up. I think the show might be skipping the Griffs, making Trystane Martell be fAegon (supposedly Aegon Targaryen (son of Rhaegar and Elia) like Young Griff in the books) and advancing that plotline by having Myrcella and Trystane be a match (politically binding the houses Martell and Lannister) for a Dornish claim to the Iron Throne. But if not, and we do get a secret casting of the Griffs, well then Jaime might not be trolling after all. FWIW it is a duck he's grabbing. But, you can take "duck" in a couple of contexts I suppose. It could be something as simple as "ducking" in a fight scene or something. IE. Someone dies by losing their head because they didn't duck. IE. Yours truly (heavily rumored the Bronn bites the dust in Dorne this season)

It is part of a suspension of disbelief you have to carry when reading any fantasy fiction... TBQH Martin could just say it was "magic" and wouldn't have to justify it by our known physics. I've struggled with separating this, though, in my own worldbuilding. It isn't really fantasy though if there aren't fantastical things that occur there...

The Panthers absolutely need to give Jake Long an offer
Bronn replied to Matthias's topic in Carolina Panthers
uhh... I wonder how many of you "injury prone" people wrote off Thomas Davis after his injuries... If we check him out and he looks to be in good shape, then why not give it a shot? -
I didn't realize there was a cat in that gif.

I can't eat eggs so my plate would consist of: One biscuit covered in sausage gravy At least 6 pieces of crispy bacon A small bowl of grits with sausage crumbles, plenty of salt, and some butter Either shredded hashbrowns or a hashbrown patty, with either more gravy or ketchup Maybe a piece of country ham A couple pieces of white toast, with fruit jelly I'd be done eating for the entire day, and I'd have enough salt and fat in me to last a while, but damn that would be some good breakfast.
