  1. Thank you for discussing the correct topic even though I disagree with you. What are his likes/dislikes? Does he have any phobias? Like maybe scared of clowns? We could paint the town with clown billboards along his most driven route. We must understand what makes Tepper tick to pull this off. What Tepper really is. He looks like he might be reptile, don't they hate cold or shovels?
  2. For the longest time I would think these people are completely making the wrong decision but "they know better than me" so maybe it's right. Nor anymore. I've been right about this way too many times with this team. So, this is absolutely the wrong decision. Tepper will be interviewing and hiring the coach. The guy is a moron and will pick the worst possible candidate then proceed to tell them how to coach the entire season. Next season will not be worth watching. The only way to get the team back is for fans to run Tepper out of Charlotte. I don't know how but all discussions should be focused on getting Tepper away from this team. I'm being dead serious. This must be figured out before ANY football talk.
  3. You get it. I never see anyone with this mindset. Wilks is not the same coach as he is here. What he did last year with the state that team was in was nothing short of amazing. Not giving him a shot this year was criminal. Not giving him a shot this year and instead hiring a coach who was fired mid-season last year was...something Tepper would do. You had to give Wilks a chance to fail. At least 2-3 years. Tepper is too stupid to understand it may take a year or two to get the machine running right. He is literally too stupid to see that far ahead. He has the mind of a child, hence why he did not think of the consequence of throwing a drink on a opposing fan. Definition of a spoiled brat. Wilks was done wrong.
  4. The Panthers will not have a winning season (talking more wins than losses) if David Tepper is involved with this franchise. That's just how it is. People can say they will be good if he completely steps back from football operations which is probably true. David Tepper will never step back from football operations if he owns that team. He may step back at first, and maybe we start the season great. The first time we lose one or two in a row he is right back in that locker room preaching about what they need to do to win next time. It's impossible for someone like him to step back. We are the exact opposite of a good franchise. Look at the franchise Green Bay has. Look at how they do things. You NEED stability and planning ahead. When did they draft Love? 3 years ago I think? Even fans were pissed but they know better than the fans (unlike Tepper). They knew Roger's only had a certain amount of years left, and not very many. They didn't draft Love to take them to the championship that year, they did it to let him sit and learn behind one of the greats for 3 years. Tepper is Wall Street guy, all about the numbers (stats). He has no idea just how valuable it was for them to do that with Love. Probably thought it was a waste because he wasn't used for 3 years. You think Tepper has been on the court or field much in his life? He doesn't understand sports at all. He saw Bryce had good stats in college and high score on the test. Never took into account what his team consisted of. Tepper is a Wall Street prick with a massive ego and temper nobody wants to be around. The thrown drink shows who he is as a person. He is completely clueless when it comes to the psychological aspects of sports. Does not understand how relationships in the locker room can have direct impact to results on the field. Knows nothing about the dynamics of team sports and how much impact the attitudes/behaviors of those in charge have on the quality of play from the team. And his ego is so overinflated that the possibility of him "stepping back from football operations" is a big fat 0% chance. This will not be a winning team until David Tepper is no longer owner. Just take a look at the final win/loss records for each year in order since Tepper bought the team. He is a cancer to the Carolina Panthers that is way past treating. He has ruined this franchise and cannot fix it himself.
  5. There is no way he is stepping back from football operations. He already "knows" what coaches he needs and "knows" what we need in the draft. He MUST make BY successful to prove he is a genius and the will be his downfall. The "culture of fear" quote was also important. A lot of people know what its like working at a place like that. Everyone is doing what the have to do to not get fired. If you see something that could be fixed but it would bring attention to you when you can just ignore it and not be involved at all, you ignore that problem. Employees are pit against each other. They will go behind your back and report to the boss what you're doing wrong. Its just tense. Tepper is one of those bosses who makes sure that when everyone wakes up in the morning, the first feeling they get is dread for having to go in that day. It's a horrible way to live but that is what Tepper wants. He wants fear, for you to be on edge, always thinking about what you have to do at work while you're home. People like this don't change. He cannot do it even if he knows he has to for the team to succeed. He may step back at first but the first loss because of a bad call by the coach, he is back on the field telling the coaching staff how stupid they are and what they will need to change. Everyone can look at the Panthers record and see exactly when he came on board. We will not have a winning season with Tepper involved at all with the team. He needs to sell or....if Tepper is here this team will suck. These Wall Street guys that make it that high up are pretty much the scum of the earth. These are the guys that will short a company to death that was inventing a new treatment for cancer if it means they can make $1,000,000. That's their mindset.
  6. I'd say bring Cam on. Cut to around 18:00. Team needs some soul, Tepper has no soul, Cam has unlimited soul...that team needs help desperately.
  7. Well since the Panthers let random forum users decide the biggest decisions for this franchise I'll be taking over Owner/GM duties starting now. I wanted Wilks to stay so I know I'll make better decisions than Tepper. My first decision is to no longer let carolinahuddle make hiring decisions. Done deal, that right there is a masterclass in executing a coup
  8. You pull Bryce now right? If you think he is going yo be your quarterback like Tepper knows he will be since he is the greatest QB he has ever witnessed, you pull him right? This isn't considered experience. You can do this anytime. Just have him stand somewhere with his eyes closed and have guys hit him as hard as they can. You don't have to do this during a game. So I'm guessing you pull him now until you can replace she line this week.
  9. First off, this team will never have a winning season with Tepper as the owner. He is not just a horrible owner, but he is an awful human being. Go look at the turnover in that company. He made his money on Wall Street with his hedge fund. Most of these people are a complete waste to humanity, leeches. Early on Tepper started at Goldman Sachs. Supposedly he was killing it there and quickly became the best trader there. He wanted a partner position which he definitely deserved because of his success trading. Almost anyone with that performance would that position. Tepper did not. It was said they didn't give it to him because they couldn't stand him. Said his constant screaming, foul mouth, and horrible personality caused him to be denied. We are talking about some of the most rude, backstabbing, morallass, corrupt people on this planet thought Tepper was too much. He also doesn't know football at all. You probably saw Tepper on Camera talking about Young. Saying he is a "point guard" who distributes the ball so he doesn't need any top talent around him. You know, he's like a point guard guys. That right there tells you Tepper traded up and had no problem sending DJ on. You know, it looks like Tepper looked at these coaches and roster and really thought they would make a run in the playoffs. Many understand how important it is to have the people at the top know how to set the culture of the entire company. Screaming, degrading, threatening worked with Wall Street traders. I promise you football players have a little difference in personality. Tepper thinks he knows football, wants control, and had this personality. He just creates a bunch of yes men and we all know damn well most good talent will completely avoid this team and owner. Anyone going to the games saw the change. I've had season tickets since 2012 and try to make most of the games. Obviously 2015 was the peak. It was fun as hell. The players were loose and having fun. They were playing hard as hell too. You should have seen their demeanor first games this season. My group there all saw it before the first snap. They were not havingnfun. You could tell they were all "I'm just doing my job" kind of attitude. No laughing, no Tolbert dancing, no talking to fans, nothing. It looked bad and it was obvious. They knew what the deal was. I've seen this before. I saw it happen to Proctor & Gamble plant I visited for work a lot. The place was fun, people happy, and production was good. Plant manager retired and new guy like Tepper came in. Had a rule that the items on people's desks like a stapler, pencil holder, etc all have a specific place on your personal desk it must always be right after you use it. All desks in the cubicles had to look the exact same. Overnight that place became miserable to visit. Everyone on eggshells while there. People would not point out problems unrelated to what they were doing, would hide things, do the bare minimum, backstab each other. The plant production got awful and within a year the plant manager was replaced. Tepper is bringing that environment to Charlotte. The stadium experience has gotten worse. The sound system sucked, insanely loud between plays, announcer sounded garbled and bad, you couldn't understand him a lot. The timer/scoreboard was constantly wrong. The field went artificial and 99% of the team on IR or career ended. But really though, injuries were horrible. Look at McCaffrey here and then now. We had things like Olsen happen. Look at now. I have no proof but injuries seemed to stack up once real turf was removed. A lot of non contact injuries like both guys above had happened. Noone dare questions it probably b/c that's what Tepper wants. Keep that head down and just do the bare minimum to avoid getting disciplined. Just say what you think Tepper wants to hear. And like Cam said, the locker room environment is one of the most important aspects. The guys have to gel and get along. Had to be willing to talk or critique others without hating each other. It had to be fun and relaxed at some points in time. I guarantee the locker room now is like high school detention now lol. Silent a lot, lots of arguments/fights, Tepper yelling, just horrible. These guys aren't immune to this atmosphere. I promise some are losing sleep. Thinking way too much on the field. Just an absolute mess. You can see it. Sorry for the super long rant but I had to get that out. I've loved this team even during the crappy years every other year. But this is the lowest of the low. Worst team in the league from my perspective, and no freaking draft picks that were traded. An awful roster and coach. You know this team will regress this year as it goes on. They are going to end up getting our tiny quarterback severely injured because the line will keep regressing. And you see Tepper do even crazier things because he knows absolutely nothing about football and will refuse to acknowledge this season is already a wask. You just need to try to develop the young guys like Young and Icky. But Tepper has too much of an ego to backoff. He will constantly throw his weight around. His fingerprints are everywhere. But it sucks to say, this team WILL NOT have a winning season with Tepper as the owner. You can talk a out the play calling, replacing bad coaches, drafting better, whatever. But doing all of that, getting the best, will at most get the Panthers 6/7 wins with Tepper as the owner. Lots of top talent will avoid us like the plague. Tepper would have turned 2015 into a losing season, I swear. Anyone who goes to these games will understand. That swagger they had in 2015 that helped in those tight games would have been destroyed with Tepper there. People need to get vocal about Tepper. He needs to know that the fans can't stand him and this his team is a joke. Hold up signs at the game (probably be removed from the stadium though). He has yo know everyone wants him gone. People on here will say it's not Tepper, its the GM/coaches. Ok, they can suck too. But good ones will get maybe 2 additional wins if Tepper IA owner. The ones defending him are defending losing seasons year after year. The Panthers will be awful if Tepper does not completely remove himself from ALL football operations. I think this needs to be constantly discussed. I don't any other way to run him off. And it's a very very slim chance he sells anytime soon. Judging by his past, he is just an all around awful person. I want nothing to do with him, he destroyed this team. How many years have you gave him?
  10. Time is all relative. I'm in Jacksonville on my way in to the Panthers/Jaguars game now. Super nice day here. Excited to see what Cam does this season after putting great numbers his first few season. Our defense is stacked this year. I'm really liking what Sean McDermott has these guys doing. Having Luke, Thomas Davis, Josh Normam, Short, and others have me feeling pretty good. We'll see. Got some extra seats here. Grab one if you want. DMT is right over there. Traverse that 5th dimension, the football here is worth it...
