  1. We need both, our defense was noticeably worse without burns
  2. Brown wanted to end that game. It didn’t work. I like the call since we hadn’t thrown deep but once. Too bad Bryce was properly shook
  3. I’m thinking he throws receivers open because he doesn’t have the velocity to do anything else. I fear his deep routes (if we can see some) will only work with perfect timing. It’s great he is able to throw with anticipation, but when that isn’t an option you’re fuged.
  4. It really sucks being a Guinea Pig for a pompous, douchey new owner learning how the NFL works.
  5. I am physically ill. I think I need another Pilsner.
  6. Does this staff still consider the o line as solved? Give Bryce some fuging help
  7. Oh I am in no way in support of Fitterer, I think he has made several blunders and I’d like him outta here. I do think jury is still out on his first rounders. It hasn’t even been three years, and they’ve had coaching changes.
  8. There’s a reason all the players loved Hurn dog…Although (over)paying your own does have the benefit of maintaining a family like culture that was lost when Gettleman took over
  9. If coaches feel Icky isn’t putting in enough individual work, and he is not heeding coaching advice-rotate him between Guard and Tackle. Maybe that sends a message.
  10. Like others have said, better personnel decisions, and most notably, no time management issues. I am curious how much Frank interjected during offensive drives. On that clip of the final drive you see Frank saying, “Give it to him again.” After a Chuba run
  11. Been here since 2012, but got a new name. And I agree, picks don’t equal success. Unfortunately free agents don’t either with fitts track record—but they should be much easier to hit on.
  12. After seeing the packers ink their guy today. I am on board with giving him that 30 mil per year. Maybe fitt can do something with the contract where it works out for us.
  13. Sorry to resurrect but I cannot start topics. His unhappiness was on display when they showed him on the big screen with Goodell. It looked like Nicole told him they were on camera and he half waved it off. Also in the locker room when Reich presented the ball to Thomas Brown, he seemed to be the only one in there not clapping. Personally I like it. I would be much more annoyed if he was happy with how things are going. Now if he could only get out of his own way with hiring people.
  14. Unfortunately that was just one example yesterday, and I’m not even sure it was the worst one. They need to stick burns on him in practice so he can work on some type of answer to speed rushers
  15. You have to assume this new scheme is not playing to his strengths. He doesn’t magically suck now—he had some great tape last year. Fingers crossed it’s a slump.
  16. Maybe Bryce looks much better in practice because he is going against a shittier-than-expected defense…
  17. Panthers get the W We get Corbett back, our run game improves, allowing for play action to jettison Young into career highs-including his first connect on a deep go route. The Panthers install their own version of the push tush with Cade Mays taking the snap. Situational play calling is vastly improved with Brown, and the Texans are left confused and in utter disbelief.
  18. Should have also resigned reddick instead of trying to do burns
  19. All of the above. But also he is Bryce’s number one look- and so many of his passes are anticipated throws before the receiver is open. Theilen is savvy enough with that operation.
  20. I want 1st year chud type magic. I won’t get it, but I want it.
  21. I’m very curious what we value him as.
  22. You’re right it is definitely semantics— and I see it both ways. The way I view it, and from your response- “if we didn’t make the trade we would have a first round pick from this year on our team.” We do, in the form of Bryce. Either way, for me, it’s just too small of a sample size.
