BREAKING: Giants looking to trade for Brian Burns
ThrillzforthePils replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If they’re not giving up 6th then this needs to be some sort of three way trade where we end up in the first round so we have that 5th year option.- 543 replies

Athletic article on GM candidates
ThrillzforthePils replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper likes him and trusts him…for now. The theory makes perfect sense Our best hope is he gets “promoted” to a position where he doesn’t deal with player personnel. As long as Tepper is still on board with Young, he will also be on board with the guy who helped guide that decision. -
Tepper being “incredibly accountable” behind the scenes
ThrillzforthePils replied to Martin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Until proven otherwise, Tepper is stubbornly focused on figuring this out for himself. Am I happy he is taking accountability because his hires failed? Or maybe he realizes his interjections have failed? Maybe I’m just happy he feels something instead of being content with failure. -
LaCanfora Hearing that Scott will be Gone
ThrillzforthePils replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
It could be an indication that Fitterer was the main reason we drafted Bryce. Not to say Tepper didn’t voice his opinion, and after that dinner furthered his belief that he liked Young better… But in Fitterer’s press conference after the draft indicated he was all about Bryce a few years ago. If Tepper is comfortable moving on from Fitt, it would seem he is comfortable moving on from Bryce. -
Burns 55th in league with 17 pressures
ThrillzforthePils replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
Can’t imagine being able to sign Burns, Brown, and Luvu. I’d rather spend the money on Brown and Luvu. -
Only thing to look forward to is adding some needed protection and weapons to the team and wait for 2025 for the next qb. Hopefully that comes with Tepper realizing he needs to gtfo and a new gm that is worth a damn….Unfortunately Bryce doesn’t physically have the tools, unless he starts juicing.
-
Just looking more and more like we are gruelingly riding out the whole “Tepper learning how to be an NFL owner thing” rather than a team rebuild. If Bryce is a bonafide bust, perhaps that helps Tepper realize he needs to stop inserting himself.

Russini: Some coaches wanted to bench Young

Staff shouldn’t have named him a day 1 starter then! -

Frank Reich Fired as Panthers HC - Official

What’s wild is Tepper wanted to break the mold with Bryce….but paired him with a head coach that runs the most vanilla, archaic passing offense. Break the mold with a cutting edge offense and pair it with Bryce.
-
I would expect our team to look way better under different leadership. But none of that matters if Bryce continues to show no confidence.
-
Even Bryce’s screen passes were slow. Slower looking than at the start of the season.
-
If Reich actually believes we have the correct players in place, why did we try and get some wr help at the deadline? If Bryce is good running under center, and the current system isn’t working, why keep running him in pistol? He’s covering for his players. We desperately need a new gm and head coach.

Report: Tepper frustated by the offense
ThrillzforthePils replied to BIGH2001's topic in Carolina Panthers

It’s all cumulative. He is moving on from reads too quickly, partly because he doesn’t trust his line. Receivers are not challenging defenders and give up on routes often. There is no sense of fire or urgency. We desperately need a run game to take the pressure off Bryce until he can settle down and be comfortable.
-
I wish I knew what he was offering. I mean I have no problem with him trying to acquire these players, if the price wasn’t steep.
-
He looked dejected, between questions he would just stare down at the podium. He has no answers other than to stay the course. He furthered his necessity to be fired.
