  1. Why do people always point to the # of new cases charts to back up their "panic"? Isn't the scientific explanation that case/positive test count has risen because testing coverage/volume has increased. This is the chart that ultimately matters: https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/daily-deaths-covid-19?country=~USA
  2. Sorry, you'll probably need to be laid off/starve so the Karen's of the world can claim "victory" in their great "war" against the curve... Is it insane to think that in a free country people should be able to assess the risks of the virus to them and then choose how much they want to expose themselves/their family/ect. via their previously normal day to day activities? Isn't it a bit heavy-handed that government gets to choose who gets laid off and who is "essential"? And for the idiots who are going to come in with cool examples of government intervention in the name of public safety like the "seatbelt", please give me examples of where a mandatory seatbelt cost someone their livelihood.
  3. 2 month old and a pretty hyper 5 year old here, it can be pretty interesting at times.
  4. Unless your wife is Mary Poppins there a limits to how much small children can be entertained/occupied while stuck at home for almost 2+ months. These posts hit me in the feels, I cannot wait to be back in the office.

  6. That was probably the best episode of TV I've watched in some time. Great back story on Mike
  7. Beyond what's already been mentioned, I've always thought the smoked wings at Icehouse (if you're not a die-hard fried wings or nothing person) are pretty damn good.
