  1. Just because the defender fuged up on one play doesn't mean our offense was any better. Even take into account that play, our offense went completely stagnant for the whole entire 3rd quarter, when we had 13 point to that point. Before scoring two garbage time touchdowns in the 4th, where the defense was playing prevent defense. Our offense was still dogwater in that game.
  2. Tbh take away our garbage time TD and the fluke TD to Chark and our offense doesn't look that much different. We scored 13 points with that. Tbh Reich probably changed up the coaching scheme because of him.
  3. Yes, lets compare a first year rookie with shitty weapons, to a second year player with decent weapons.
  4. If the defender doesn't slip, like he said, he don't have anyone outside of Thielen that has over 40 yards receiving. You can't use a fluke play to justify our offense being better for one game with Dalton, when the play almost should've never even happen in the first place. Especially where that touchdown was the difference between our offense scoring 27 points to 19 points.
  5. Half of the reasons why the trade wasn't justified is because of his physical talent and lack of arm talent. And I agree that we have very limited resources to get Bryce pieces, but people are still saying Bryce is a bust because of him, and not really because if his team. Bryce was known to be an Elite processor, but try processing while not trusting your lineman or receivers, having very little time to "process" the field, receivers not separating enough, and a shitty coaching scheme, and doing all that while trying to adjust to the speed of the NFL.
  6. Like I said, everybody develops at their own time. And you willfully ignored when I said that Dalton has way more experience than Bryce Young, which shouldn't be surprising. Not everyone can be Mahomes in their first season.
  7. Bryce Young has been sacked 29 times this season lmao... People really hide the truth to fit their narrative.
  8. I can't believe people are this delusional on this forum that people are surprised that a veteran did better than a rookie. People act like our offense was hitting on all cylinders that game, but our offense completely fell apart the 2nd half of the game. Take away the garbage time TD and we scored 19-21 points. Take away another flukey TD to Chark where the defender literally slipped and we scored 11-13 points. Dalton leaned heavily on Thielen just like Bryce did. Dalton is a vet and was better handled to adjust rather than a rookie, especially 3 weeks into the season. He's not going to be Patrick Mahomes the first season of his rookie career, especially not in this offense. Some players just develop more fast and slower than others, we just need to be a bit more patient and give him a chance in a competent offense.
  9. You're acting as if 7th round guys can't be competent. I guess Brock Purdy is terrible, then. It's all about the right coaching and development.
  10. honestly i think people are just impatient and want to win something. With Dalton, until very recently was our only time our offense was somewhat clicking for a moment. Some also don't want to destroy BY's confidence and end up like Sam Darnold.
  11. we are lucky if a team gives up a 1st or 2 2nds lol
  12. The reason why we are probably injured on defense is due to wear-and-tear, which goes back to our offense not being able to capitalize on drives. Problem with our defense is we don't have the depth to make up for our injuries.
  13. Honestly, I think it's just a miscommunication issue with his WRs. I never notice misthrows from BY to Thielen, but Thielen doesn't go deep as much either. I think BY doesn't trust his receivers, because while some of you might say that separation doesn't matter, separation does matter to a rookie when he's adjusting to "college-open' to 'nfl open". Most of our receivers already weren't the best at separating, anyways. It also doesn't help that his WRs stop running their routes mid-play.
  14. It proves that BY is hitting his reccievers, it turn proving that accuracy isn't as issue. Coupled with the fact that our WRs are last in separation in the league, it proves that BY's hitting his receivers isn't a BY issue, but a WR issue. It also proves how scared and incompetent the coaching staff is on BY.
  15. with Reich we aren't even using half of our playbook lol. Bryce is one of the most accurate Qbs in the league.
  16. Bryce young is one of the most accurate QBs in the league through the first 4 weeks. Either they are scared or just incompetent.
  17. Wouldn't doubt Stroud is doing that, but I also would doubt that it would be hard to make a play when 75% of your pass plays are screen plays.
  18. Not sure if it's a coaching issue, but it might be an issue of our WRs not getting enough separation. I think the Panthers are last in WR separation in the entire league. I think BY adjusting to "NFL open" WRs is also something that he might be struggling a bit in.
  19. Wilks wasn't terrible, but there is a reason why he isn't a HC for any team rn.
  20. Houston has Tank Dell and Nico Collins, both young and talented receivers. Not to mention an Oline, including the best tackle in football in Laremy Tunsil. Dameon Pierce had a solid game last week, going 81 yds on 24 rushes. Indy has Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce are also having solid receivers. Zack Moss is having a good start to his season, going for 280 yds so far this year. Bryce young has had one receiver go for over 50 yards this season, and that is Adam Thielen. Our Oline is terrible, our receivers are disappointing. And our offensive playcalling sucks, something that you can't really say for the Texans or the Colts.
  21. The other rookies have weapons and a competent coaching staff around them. Bryce has the pressure of a #1 pick, with mid-tier receivers, and a incompetent offensive coaching staff. The other rookies have different things around them that affect their development. And Bryce has been making some nice reads most of the time, when the receivers are open to him. Not saying BY is amazing, he has his struggles, but we are just going through growing pains with a rookie QB. And with Trevor, TLaw really sucked his rookie year. Idk why everybody acts he had something his rookie year, but his play has horrible, didn't even look like a #1 pick. He threw 12 Tds and 17 Ints, and had a 59.6 Cmp rate. Obviously it was due to Meyer, but he even sucked for the first half of the season last year. He only started getting his rhythm for the 2nd half of last year. Don't act like rookie struggles are a new thing.
  22. Wow, a rookie is struggling under pressure? Never heard that one before...
  23. Bryce kind of sucks, but you have to mind he is a rookie. it is also noted that our play calling is inept when Bryce is under center. I think we need more playmakers and more creative playcalling.
  24. Trey Lance is one of the worst trades in NFL history in terms of value. Imo, the worst trade in history is when the bears traded away their pick to draft Mitch Trubisky. They could've drafted Mahomes with that pick.
