Are we desperate "Dumb" enough.... Bill Belicheck
TeppersEgos replied to Chad_Cota's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ben Johnson is not coming here. Why go to a team that has no roster, no first round pick, a meddling owner who forces you to take his draft picks, and a QB whose looked shaken at best when you can go to the team that has those picks, a war chest, or another team that’s already ready to compete in the playoffs? Johnson will be highly sought after and will have his choice of teams to go to. Panthers will be dead last of places he'll want to go to. -
I am convinced that Scott Fitterer will be here for another year. Tepper is a joke and so wildly incompetent that he would fire the head coach and not one of the worst GMs in recent history. Absolute clown show. I would do anything to make Tepper sell the team.

With the loss today, the Carolina Panthers are guaranteed to have their sixth straight losing season.

All my homies hate David Tepper. Worst owner in the NFL. I have never felt this much disdain for a person I don't even know personally. Dumb fug Tepper got rid of the only coach who got him the most wins since he became owner: Steve Wilks. He also wanted to fire Mike Tomlin when he was minority owner of the Steelers. He wanted to get rid of a coach who had zero losing seasons. Tepper is a complete idiot. Any decision Tepper makes, do the complete opposite. Every decision Tepper makes, the opposite has to be correct.

ok I've been watching texans and panthers football. Stroud has a much better receiving core but really, a much better scheme. The scheme abuses tight splits and is very creative in attacking the space to the outside (stroud also has a rocket) Bryce has a very outdated scheme that doesn't really help out their cast of untalented receivers. Completely two different situations, not comparable -
From the article, “According to Panthers owner David Tepper, however, that wasn't how the trade was originally drawn up. "We had a trade to go up to No. 2," Tepper said. "It was a three-way trade with Chicago. And we were gonna go up to No. 2. And the Texans were gonna trade up to No. 1, Chicago was gonna go to No. 2, and we were gonna trade with Chicago (for No. 9 pick). And we're waiting. I think we had that trade kinda arranged on Wednesday. I come from a world where you do trades, and I don't love when trades don't happen right away. So I'm driving Scott [Fitterer] crazy. I have to apologize to Scott for this, by the way.” It sounds like Houston backed out and figured that the Panthers were going to take Young with the first pick. They were perfectly content drafting Stroud with the second pick. Tepper got frustrated when they backed out and basically demanded a trade that would net the Panthers the first pick. This is why you don’t let the owner function as a GM. I guess in a way it worked out because Carolina and Houston both got their guy, but it’s looking increasingly likely that the Panthers got rolled because Tepper insisted on getting his guy. It doesn’t matter if they replace the scouting and front office if the owner is insisting on things like this. The moment you negotiate out of desperation you’ve lost. https://sports.yahoo.com/panthers-owner-admits-three-way-232230991.html

How long until David Tepper fires Frank Reich and hires his wife as head coach? -
He will give Josh McDaniels a 3 year contract.

Albert Breer: both Reich and Fitterer back in ‘24
TeppersEgos replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean, it kind of makes sense, in the sense that 2024 is owned by them anyway. You give a much cleaner and fairer slate to any new regime coming in in 2025 doing it this way. If you bring in a new team for next year they burn one of their years cleaning up the mess made by someone else, which reduces your competitiveness for candidates for that reason but also because it makes Tepper look impulsive -
I'm fuging dead my man said brown on brown crime lmao

The Panturds vs. the Giants. Who wins?
-
Stroud can do it all.
-
What is this forum going to do if somehow the Texans made it all the way to the Super Bowl with rookie CJ Stroud?
-
I wonder what fat fug Tepper thinks every time he sees CJ Stroud balling out.
-
I hate David Tepper so much.
-
What else is new.
-
I can't believe how badly we fuged up by not taking Stroud. David Tepper and his wife should be in prison.
-
fug those two. They need to stay the fug out of these decisions and let the experts make the picks.

Protest on Mint Street this Sunday at noon
TeppersEgos replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was hearing about protests in Charlotte for the gaza strip situation, and realized that a panthers protest would look pretty fuging stupid in comparison lol -
This man has come in and absolutely destroyed this franchise. He has sucked the soul out of this team. Even if he fires Reich and/or Fitterer I have zero confidence unless he hires actual football people to begin the search. This is the same genius that declined Steichen off a zoom interview. Him and his fuging wife both chose Bryce Young, hired a retread coach after being fired mid season. It's just awful decision after awful decision. This team will never have a winning season under David Tepper. The future is bleak. There is no hope. How much longer are you going to watch this train wreck that is the Carolina Panthers?
-
Nah Tepper is worse.

I can totally see this piece of poo not firing Frank Reich in the same year just so he can avoid the media headlines of "OWNER FIRES BOTH SOCCER AND NFL COACH IN THE SAME YEAR!" So we'll keep Frank Reich for spite. fug this guy.
