It was very much not the right spot. Coker adjusted and should have caught it, but it was still a really bad pass.
given the situation...it was...and catchable. good teams make that catch and play.

Hes done pretty well for the most part since hes been 'in charge'. I mean he can't fix everything with this team in at least 2 years..... 2025 draft will tell a tale....

All joking aside I'd be fine if Morgan were that ruthlessly honest. We need some of that here. But unfortunately every indication says he and Scott had a full on bromance going. They were legitimately good friends. I imagine there were some minor things they disagreed on but as far as approach to football they bonded because they shared many similarities. The best hope I can take from all that going forward is that Dan has gotten a firsthand look at a GM fail spectacularly and can apply that as a learning tool. But let's be real here. If this were one of our division rivals we would all be laughing our asses off at them for finding themselves in such a situation after so much losing.
When money is on the line you say some stupid poo....Morgan was hedging....at least I hope so...

Well that is certainly a pleasant surprise. It's a shame because Mingo seemed like a really good kid when we drafted him. But he didn't seem to want to put in the work to improve and didn't have the right mentality to become a great player at his position. Maybe this will wake him up. Either way not our problem anymore.
BTW. To the people who are rightfully shredding Scott Fitterer for selecting Mingo. Your courteous reminder that the current GM who just traded him was right there with Scott when we drafted him. Let's keep things in perspective if fingers are being pointed.
The conversation prolly went like this.
Morgan- I don't see enough dawg in him....
Fitterereer- fk you...

Someone on GMFB suggested that NO should draft Sheduer and hire Deion as their head coach. Please let that happen.
Unfortunately it will prolly be here. You know how Dipper likes shinny new things.

Who cares. He was overrated. Pretty sure Coker will be more productive for us
Not sure he was overrated but it seemed like he only showed up when he wanted to.

He's the GM of a 2-7 team and he's made some awful decisions -- with more coming before the trade deadline. But that's a hell of a lot better than being the GM of a 1-8 team, and he's a better drafter than Fitterer. I'll give him that.
Now, prove he's better at making trades than any GM in NFL history other than Fitterer, and we'll be talking.
heres a bag of sht...turn it into gold....
