6 year tank experiment....

I mean, I fully expect Tepper's Panthers to fug up at every turn because that's pretty much what we've been doing for six years straight ever since he bought the team. It's gonna take awhile for them to earn back any trust from me even if they start killing it right now.
...Yea...I'm waiting for the tall tale fug up that has Dippers fingerprints all over it..we know its coming...I'm conditioned like Pavlovs dog....whether its telling Canales what D to run...who to play ... or what play to run... He will throw a wrench into progress somehow..... thank God we have a point guard that can distribute the ball.

Did Fitt manage to get a single comp pick in his entire run? And if so did he trade it or our own pick in that round on some bs?
He was astonishingly bad...he had about as much business being a GM as I had being a brain surgeon with an associate degree.. he'll be noted as nothing more than a brown stain on Panther history.

Yea...pay for performance...Burns doesn't understand that....since he hasn't performed!!!

Hes only a half dawg....we need full dawgs... bring him back on a short...maybe he'll develop into a contributor...

Young's average time before a pass is 2.89 seconds, 10th-longest. He has held onto the ball an average of 2.84 seconds when blitzed, sixth-longest.
...what are you saying....nobody open....he takes to long to decide where to go with the ball...nervous feet?... ball has to come out at the 2 second mark at the latest.

Yea, which is way I think this "rebuild" will take 5 years rather than 3.
Yea...I was being conservative ...which is why I said it should of been underway 5 years ago...we should be the undisputed kings of the south division by now... its clear Dippers are stringing us along with talk only to make their money....they got none from me....I'll just follow along.

Oof. Moton and Christensen are the only two guys on our roster who could conceivably fit.
We'll either dig out or dig deeper....

I find it more than interesting that Mrs. Tepper is doing these public interviews where she is now introduced as “Owner, Carolina Panthers”.
Is it just me or has she gone from “wife of owner David Tepper” to “Owner, Carolina Panthers” seemingly overnight?
Mr. Tepper has gotten so much public backlash recently, and now his wife suddenly is the public face of the franchise?
Not a good look IMO.
yea...little dick energy on Daves part....

LOL...fan fest in S. Carolina...yea...where all the big bucks are... idiot. One of the poorest states. The whole thing is just terrible rich people that don't have a clue..

A young feisty group that wins at least 6 or 7 games during a re-shaping year. I can see them trading Burns and getting a 1st and a 3rd. I can see them trading Chinn for a 3rd and if he's not under contract they'll get a comp pick. I see them moving back (a few spots) from the 33rd pick and getting an additional 2nd or 3rd or even 4th rd pick. I see them signing a lot UDFA's who will come here because they have a legit shot.
All this will mean it will take a few games in to get their bearings and then "we have nothing to lose" football and maybe some wins and the fun starts to happen. 6 or 7 wins and the start of a better culture is what I hope for.
We are positioned to slide a 3-14 in 2024...

Dont wanna go WR at 33. Just feels like your gunna draft a guy with major hole's in his game, we need football players at every level, get the BPA.
...its our mantra bruh... Go BPA ...if you trust our scouting dept...

Hope we get a 10th rounder that shows his azz up....
-
Looks pretty accurate .... Lets see where it shakes out... What ever Mel Kiper says do the opposite...
-
....if we went 13-4 last year and we needed a receiver to put us over the top, I'd say make a play for him. But we are lightyears behind that goal. I'm with the consensus... quit mortgaging the future. Should have built thru the draft starting 5 years ago and we should be dominating the NFC south now.

...its the right move... especially if we can get something for him...he'll prolly play dead again but he is an asset and we need to get some ***** compensation for him.

At least they're trying to clean up the mess Fitts made. It's hard to really get a grip on how bad he fugged things up.
...astonishingly bad.

We are a 2 win team with more holes than a Lifetime movie plot. It's not getting fixed in a single offseason. Embrace the suck for a year, and just get it over with.
...Yea...we've been embracing the suck for 6 years...whats one more at this point.
-
So many needs... be nice if we had about 8-9 picks. Zona has 13 but nothing in the first 3 rounds.

We should trade him and move on.
It's kind of sad they haven't come to an agreement after a full year. What I don't understand is how do you turn down that trade offer from the Rams if you knew a contract wasn't going to be realistic.
Just shows you how dumb Fitt was as a GM.
You're so brilliant...no ones ever thought this...

Ian Thomas getting Restructure
in Carolina Panthers
Posted
Carolina re-signed Thomas on a three-year, $16.9 million deal in February of 2022. As he did in the second season of that pact in 2023, Thomas will likely be taking a pay cut to stick around for the 2024 campaign.
Pretty much worthless....Hasn't really contributed sht.
