I mean Bryce needs someone to get on his ass, Thielen was visibly throwing his hands up in the air multiple times when he was open not getting the ball but that was about the extent of Bryces on field criticism

Bryce needs to be a big boy now....this year is the measurement ... unless Dipper keeps forcing the point....which, his fat bulbus head might do.

From what I've read so far it sounds like he's a baller but if he got fed up with Kenny Pickett...well...this could get ugly quick. Hopefully Bryce is ready to get all these guys together and build chemistry with them to limit the inevitable growing pains and miscues of a new offense.

Yea...it could get ugly fast with a head case......He might be dead cap money in the future...but hes worth a flyer.... Lets see what a sideline distraction he might become.

  3. ...Yea...its definitely time to start thinking about a back. Chubba has been a plus... damn Stewart and Williams were some sht...thats our measurable....we need a dawg a la freddie lane

Baker was baker everywhere?  He definitely had the best season of his 6 last year.  Im not even saying Canales was responsible.   Why are people getting so defensive about listing the 3 qbs he has worked with in his career?

Bakers a gamer...hes a poor mans Favre .... kinda wished he'd of worked out here...it woulda made things easier...but one thing...he can make all the throws.

I have to say that I agree with you. His first year I took a wait and see approach to his moves. After that first season I was very skeptical of him and when he turned down the Rams offer for Burns that's when I knew we were screwed. The trade up in the draft finished it off. I began to hate the guy and that was it for me.

...hes godda be finished in the NFL...abhorred would be a compliment ...

Hey man, if pretending the team is something they are not is what you need to get you out there and supporting then do that.

But don’t act like folks who are being realistic are somehow less of a fan than you are. That’s childish.

Wolfcop is the kinda guy that gets outta the shower to take a piss.... Lets see how it all plays out...looks great on paper...and we all seen that before.

To me the hopping is the biggest hindrance.   You cannot waste time in the pocket by bouncing around trying to see the play and then correctly get your feet set and follow through on the throw.

Dipper fugged himself and us again by being the smartest man in the room...

Yeah, the dumpster fire was literally because of everyone and everything except for Bryce Young. Keep believing that.

I don't think that anyone has tried to argue that Bryce was the only problem but your head had to be deep in the sand to not see that he was a big part of the problem.

Think most of us know by now Bryce aint it ...and we're all holding on for something miraculous and to prove we've all been wrong.  Regardless, we'll see this year but not expecting anything good really...Just another year to hopefully prove Morgan is a legit GM.

    yeah....

bryce has been with the best coaches possible his entire playing life. Well, until last year obviously.

He throws the way he throws for a reason.

If I was really bored I'd look up what people on here said about The Golden Calf of Bristol's throwing motion coming out.

You can fix his foot work till he looks like Fred Astaire but the crux of the problem will always be there. Glad Canales is taking this on as his pet project.

Mike Tomlin puts up with plenty of stuff.

but Mike Tomlin's track record of getting rid of WRs.....is bad news for us.  Wallace, Brown, Holmes, Juju, Chase... Tomlin has almost an uncanny timing to date with that.

Right...if he was worth a damn Pittsburgh would have kept him.  We're really not out of anything if he doesn't.

We need an edge, literally and figuratively.   There will be plenty of WRs still available at the top of the 3rd round.  Pass rushers drop off fairly quickly.  So WR/OLB at #33 and #39 and then WR again at #65 I'd be cool with.

Yea, plenty of the same do nothing crap we've drafted in the past.   We need hits at WR...Not another TMJ.. but ok with either edge or WR...

Taylor Moton Restructure and a Derrick brown Extension.  Those two things will officially win the offseason for Morgan and company for me.  That would free up so much money to add a few more key free agent pickups to firmly reshape the team to Morgans vision.

True....but we still have 18mil to spend at this point...

Damn, you guys want to go through the Darnold situation again while we already have a young guy under contract?

As soon as we trade for him we'd have to choose to pick his 5th year option up. Then if (when) he sucks, you owe him all that money like Darnold, or you don't sign him and you rent him as a backup for a year and let him walk which would be pointless.

...I get it...but we're still on the QB carousel....

I mean... the only guy we lost that was a consistent contributor was Luvu.  Burns was nothing special despite what this forum thinks, and Donte Jackson was inconsistent at best.

Assuming we sign any of the free agents we are bringing in, they will replace Burns' production as a pass rusher while also not being laughably terrible against the run.

Ditching Burns was absolutely the right move...wish we could of gotten more for him but his attitude and pouting was bad for locker room chemistry.
