  1. He had zero emotion on the field at Alabama. I’ve coached sports for a while and when I see this from a kid it usually means his parents made him play. I think Bryce did it all for his dad and now he’s just done honestly. Plus I’ve been saying it for years the only reason why he was even relevant is because of the speed Alabama had at wide receiver and running back. He didn’t have to do much they did it all and if you go look at those guys stats in the NFL they are still outstanding weapons.
  2. Man I saw this coming from a million miles away. The only reason this kid was even relevant at the college level was because of the receivers and backs he threw the ball to at Alabama. We were loaded the 2 years Bryce started and he still couldn’t win a national championship. The only reason is arm strength the 2 years he started at Bama his completion percentage for balls thrown farther than 20 yards down the field was awful. Defenses we plaid usually would not put a safety much deeper than 10 yards because they knew there was no threat of a deep ball. I was never a fan
  3. They probably have. Those are the plays that turn in to sacks or dumb 3rd down throwaways
  4. Man this is exactly what we saw at Alabama. I had a handful of friends that agreed with me that the only reason this kid is any good is because of extremely fast first round draft pick receivers. You put him on a mediocre sec team and he would have been a 3rd round pick at best. The media got behind him and pushed him to the top IMO. Great kid just not physically big enough or strong enough for this level of play.
  5. It’s not a trust thing it’s a he can’t thing. Why do you think he didn’t go to the combine to compete. The combine has a lot of arm strength tests and he just can’t do it. His first starting year at Bama was great because of YAC the next year everyone just moved the safeties up and dared him to beat them deep and he just couldn’t.
  6. You mean 2 qbs lol? Millroe didn’t play that game would have won by a bigger margin if he would have played. I’m not saying these guys are better than Bryce by any means. Yes we are feeling the effects of not having a good qb right now for sure. Bryce couldn’t win a natty at Alabama with the talent he had there not sure what he will be able to do at Carolina with the talent he has there that’s all
  7. Oh and one more thing that drove me absolutely crazy about him the entire time is his lack of pure emotion. I get the fact you want a cool and collected qb but sometimes an offense needs an emotional boost or spark from their leader. He is not that guy stone faced all the time I just don’t get it
  8. Definitely not all the fans. I’m one of the few actually. He is a highly decorated qb at Bama no doubt but I think he owes that to the incredible receivers he had during his time there. Once defenses figured out his inaccuracy down field he was easy to defend. This why his numbers were not as good his 2nd year at Bama IMO and why he didn’t get Bama another national title. But that’s just my opinion
  9. I can’t remember where I found it but in 2021 his passes completed that were thrown 20+yards in the air was only like 33% that’s horrible. You have to remember who he was throwing to in 2021. He had speed for days with Jameson Williams, JOJO Earle, Brian Robinson, and John Metchie. These were all guys that turned 5 yard slants and tunnel screens in to 70+ yard track meets and that’s just not going to happen in the NFL. Not sure where you would find the stat but I would bet anything that the 4,800 yards passing he had that year 60% or more was yards after catch from these guys. JS
  10. You’re right it’s not Alabama but he did the same crap there too. I was not a fan at all. Can’t tell you how many times we were yelling for him to get rid of it and it was always a short check down, underthrown midrange or overthrown deep ball. The guy may be extremely smart but lacks the strength and size to play at the NFL level. IMO
  11. This is what all the Alabama fans were saying about BY last year. In a way that’s absolutely correct. He has to have speedsters that can turn 8 yard passes into 70 yard gains because his deep ball accuracy is awful. Both years at Alabama his numbers were super inflated by YAC and that’s just not going to happen for him in the NFL.
  12. Simple he doesn’t have the arm strength to be accurate down field. He couldn’t do it at Alabama I’m not sure what made scouts and coaches think he would be able to do it in the NFL. Most all of his yardage in college came from slants and screens to superstar wide receivers that could turn 5 yard slants in to 75 yard td passes.
  13. All you have to do is find a way for the defense to play prevent the whole game and he’ll be just fine LOL
