True but Bryce is very special unlike other QB who turn pro in the past. He is light and slender but has mojo in him to win big games with an average team unlike Sam D, who can't even win with a contender like the 49ers, who made tbe biggest goof of all time having a back up who claim to fame is passing to ghosts on the other team. Still can't believe we traded a 2nd round pick for him and then traded our 3rd and 4th round to move up just to draft Carrol who we waived after one injury season. Imagine having Ridder backing up Bryce instead instead. He should have started for the dirty birds last season from day one instead of a bum like Mariota. That's an entire season of real game experience gone to waste. At least Bryce is starting which is key to gain invaluable experience so we can start winning sooner rather than later. Go Panthers!

What kind of fan who would bet against his own team? It's an unspoken cardinal rule that should never be considered. Predicting the score or losing is one thing, placing a wager against your own team is another. You should be ashamed for even considering it. However, i agree Atlanta will win at home based on our scrimmage and preseason play along with a new coaching staff. Ridder was my favorite QB in last year draft cause he has the IT factor to read and react faster than any other QB on the board and they have a better o-line to protect him in the pocket. What if Bryce 1st preseason play is similar to CJ Stroud 1st game? The reason I am asking is that the twitter feed were littered with posters calling CJ a bust like Zach Wilson and all the other top pick failures after just ONE meaningless first game of his career. If Bryce first game today is just as bad, I think those fans will call out him as a bust as well. Hopefully die hard Panthers fans will not join them cause we should have a better understanding that the first preseason game doesn't mean anything or still has no regrets the selection or the big draft trade to take him.

Before the game starts hoping Bryce will have a big game like he mostly had in Bama, I just wanted to point out that had we not trade up with the Bears for the top overall pick, I think we would have taken Jalen Carter at 9 cause he shouldn't have been there as it had him at 4th best player overall based on his impact with the Bulldogs. And then take Hooker with our 39th pick as I been high on his play with the Vols. Losing our best receiver in DJ is big and wish we didn't have to include him. Hopefully it will not come back to bite us and Bryce will be much better in the NFL than Hooker will.

Not even sure if Cam aka Superman can lift the Panthers to the SB let alone winning it as a rookie, let alone Bryce. Just too much competition for this young team with a new coach. Realistically, it will take a few years to be real contenders as long as we can make progress and improvements game after game. Our goal should be to win games that we are supposed to win and have a winning record unlike last year 7-10 record. It is attainable.

Bryce vs Ridder would pit two of the highest floor QB most ready to play right out of college. Both of these QB are special imho.
