You should see Hulu's LiveTV guide. Much, much, worse. -
Getting close to that now as he hasn't done well without Brady.
-
THIS. He needed to get better from a pure QB standpoint and Rivera had zero interest in that. I don't care what that man CRA says. We needed better offensive coaches to help him better throw from the pocket.
-
Lol. Sure man. He got hit 2X more than any QB in the NFL during the mid 2010's.
-
IMO is perfect. Because if Cam had an actual QB coach to fix his issues instead of running him into the ground, he would've been a much better passer. Instead Ron only gave a shitt about his job and thus, Cam was run into the ground. Sometimes you have to save QB's from themselves.

I hate to say it, but that sounds like the current team if you're getting technical. But the defense is returning the majority of their starters and no big injuries yet (sans the RG position). But Clausen/Moore was probably worse than Mayfield/Darnold from last year.
-
@CRAWe're just going to have to agree to disagree on this. Pleasure talking with you, though.
-
Sounds like he's going to sign his restricted tenure. Mans couldn't find anyone that wanted him.
-
Or their offense could take a minor step up, and their defense which was good could take a step back.............That could be a recipe for them to be just as awful.

You're treating McCaffrey like we didn't just add Miles Sanders there. Na. 2011 was a complete rebuild, the 2010 team was a disaster. This isn't a complete rebuild when there's talent all over the roster. The O-Line is again intact and a top 12 O-Line from last year. The defense will have some growing pains, sure. But thinking they are just going to be hot garbage with this coaching staff is interesting. Do you see a ton of weaknesses on the roster? I don't. When there are a ton of weaknesses, that's a complete rebuild. That soft schedule from last year is soft this year too because the NFC South as wild as this sounds still exists. The staff that's in place thinks they'll win and compete. While you have some odd balls on here, ignoring last year and the moves we made this offseason and they think "this is a complete rebuild." If KC fired Andy Reid and their whole staff, but kept Mahomes at QB, but traded away Kelce for picks would that be a complete rebuild? No. No it wouldn't. You insert a solid QB in this situation with your standards, and it isn't a complete rebuild. See how your thought process has some fallacies in it?

We're literally facing a lot of the teams we faced last year. The majority didn't get better on their run defense issues. Bucs-they're worse on defense and offense. Saints-Got worse on defense. Falcons-Worse on offense? Better? Defense the same? Worse? Broncos-Worse defense? Better offense? Seahawks? The same probably. Nothing special about their moves. Still Geno at QB. Lions? Defense didn't get much better. Vikings defense was awful last year. Did they get better? Texans? Titans? Packers defense? I mean, if this team is the same as last year with just an above average passing offense we win more than 7 games. Matt Rhule sure did do a number on you guys.
-
It's not a complete rebuild when your defense was intact, the whole O-Line was intact. This team won 7 games with a make shift coaching staff, the worst passing offense in the NFL............but because we have a better coaching staff, a better QB, we're supposed to be the same or worse? Enlighten me how that makes any sense?

"Stud playmakers" did you mean stud playmaker? We damn near got a full draft for McCaffrey. So I'm cool with it. Plus, that albatross of a contract is off the books.

We won 21-0. Very comparable when we beat the poo out of them on paper. -

Eh. TC isn't game speed. That's the issue. I think that's what Preseason is for. But hey, I'm giving the benefit of the doubt here. -

I think the switch to the 3-4 will take some reps for everyone. The O-Line just needs to get up to game speed. They'll be fine. -

I'm sure Bills fans weren't too thrilled with their teams performance last year in the first game. Hell, 4 teams that made the post season lost every game in the Preseason last year. I don't take anything from the Preseason serious. -

I know. I meant last year when we beat the Bills 21-0 in the Preseason. That's why I don't take Preseason games serious. I used to, but no longer. -
I think a Rookie in 2023 that has Bryce's traits, and starts every game can get to 15 TD's. EASILY. If Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Mac Jones, RG3, Dak Prescott can all get over 15 TD's. Bryce can do it. Unless the O-Line plays like they did on Saturday, which I think is just a one off.

As another person said in the "think of this as 2011 thread." We beat the Bills 21-0 last Preseason. Most of our fan base thought we were world beaters after that one. -
It's pretty realistic with this asstastic division. The defense should be damn solid, the offense shouldn't be the worst passing offense in the NFL. So yeah, it's realistic.
-
Teddy Bridgewater never went over 15 TD's before he came to Carolina. You can overrate the poo out of him if you want though.
-
We beat Seattle on the road with Sam Darnold last year. This isn't you in your early 20's Seattle team, this is the Geno Smith Seahawks, which is just average at best.
