  1. Obviously, I misread what you were trying to say - my bad. But still, its very common for high 1st rounders to get multiple chances.
  2. Not sure if you are race baiting here or not, but TYPICALLY high 1st round players get way more chances than other guys - QB's especially.
  3. You can literally make this same argument about every player drafted before Tom Brady's 199th pick... And no, JC doesnt need to be the best CB of all time for this still to be a good pick..
  4. Any player other than a QB please... Lots of good targets left. I wanted oline in the 1st and would like oline in the 2nd but there is a lot of good defensive talent on the board right now... If we picked up JOK, Barmore or Moehrig, our D suddenly becomes a strength. Given that we are still in rebuilding mode, I would not be opposed to it.
  5. Been thinking about this for some time.. With players being able to get an year in College, does that make NEXT years draft contain more quality players? Obviously there are clear cut guys in the 1st and 2nd rounds but from 3rd round on, would those players typically be of higher value than what we would see this year? Thinking specifically of linemen, they get an extra year to get bigger and stronger. There would be less projections from teams perspectives. If so, then would it make sense making deals this year to secure more picks next year? What do you college guru's think?
  6. I think the thing I would get the most upset about out draft is if we draft a QB in round 2.
  7. TBH, I would be a little disappointed if we draft a QB in the 1st round. The very best case situation for our team is that he plays to his #3 overall draft status and we build around him.
  8. Especially when the new discussion on top QB contracts are that they should get a % of the cap as opposed to just a defined contract number... There needs to be a reset on the QB market.
  9. If they dump him they probably still get a comp pick out of the deal...
  10. Interesting theory about cycling QB's. I mean I doubt it would ever happen but the theory is interesting. Some draft people say that you should draft a 1st round QB every year because the upside is so high and the risk is so low. Meaning you draft a 1st round QB, he stinks you can often still trade him for a #1 or high value pick. (See Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Carsen Wentz, as an example).
  11. Thats fair. I do like the idea of trading down and staying in the top half of the 1st round still.
  12. Its just that there is no context here.. Reading this I have no idea what happened..
  13. If I'm JB, I want to make Sam a superstar. That will guarantee me a HC position next year. So give me weapons to show off my offensive genius. If I'm Joe Brady, I'm pounding the table for a WR.
  14. We all know Joe Brady is hot future head coach candidate. (Lets be honest, everyone is it in for themselves. He wants to be a HC. So what helps him the most?) So if you are him, wanting to become a HC, what are you pounding the table for to build your resume?
  15. Im high on Fields. If he is there draft him.
  16. Am I the only one that imagines Teddy watching these getting totally triggered?
  17. I dont think players should be at fault to the contracts that they are offered..
  18. No matter how this plays out, having 40 massage therapists is weird AF...
  19. Seems like a lot of strong opinions on these guys.. Are they the smartest people in the room? A good additional resource? Or do they over analyze everything? How do you guys view them?
