never... not in todays NFL
-
Well we have very limited picks this year so if we like a QB, waiting past round 1 is not an option.

Thanks for sharing.

Im SOOO excited about the potential of our secondary. Guys we could be crazy good.

I ONLY got into F1 through Drive to survive. Now Ive watched the last 3 seasons and really enjoy it. This year is great. The new league year is a lot more competitive.

Rockhill site going south fast it seems.

Someone said it earlier in this thread. There would be a very different discussion if suddenly the Panthers had won 12 games last year. A deal is a deal... Until politics get involved -

I dont live anywhere close to here and dont watch your local news, so Im unfamiliar with the situation. But reading the forum and a few news reports this is the gist I have gathered... correct me if Im wrong. Tepper and Rock Hill make and agreement that if he builds this facility here, then the City will contribute to the tune of $250,000,000. The agreement is made and construction begins. Suddenly Rock Hill is unable to fulfill their obligation. Tepper gets mad that they reneged and stops construction. Now they are negotiating. This is 'mostly' the case? If that is, then I don't get the Tepper hate. -
Next year’s QB crop is better. Let’s wait until then.

I missed the most obvious example. Sam Darnold. Even BAD 1st round QB's hold value. -

Honestly thats ok. 1st round QB's hold their value. Look at the recent example of Josh Rosen. Rosen was 1st round pick in 2018. Replaced by Murray the next year BUT still traded for a 2nd round pick. If we draft a QB this year AND draft a QB next year we will still recover value. (why am I suddenly in the defend drafting a QB camp!?...) -

Yeah, football discussion happens less and less around here. Its more about trying to dunk on others. I was just thinking to how set up teams are when they can acquire multiple 1st round picks. How that suddenly becomes a very valuable currency if used correctly that can be traded and re-traded for years. Given Fitter's ability, I could see how he could really do well with that bargaining power. But the only way to be able to do that is if you already have a QB on the roster. Until that happens nothing else is more valuable. -

I have no idea. Everyone says that they all suck. That said most experts were also not excited about Josh Allan either. Another draft expert also famously said that Jimmy Claussen was a can't miss prospect. Its a crap shoot. -

Im more in the 'wait for 23' crowd but this post has me thinking. Our 'best' situation might be to pick a QB this year and ride with him all year. Assuming we finish top somewhere in the 3-6 range, given the draft capital from the Eagles and Giants we might be in the best position to trade with them for a kings ransom... but only if we already have our QB. If we draft a QB this year we might be able to trade our 1st next year for a king ransom. -
Interesting rumor on the Saints forum.. Reason they are willing to trade next years 1st round pick is that they are certain that Sean Payton will return next year thus being able to get an additional 1st rounder for trading his rights.

I dont mind PFF. As fans we really only watch one team closely and then bitch about everything. PFF has guys that watch every game in detail and at least provides perspective. We might suck, but the 'suck' is relative.

Thats great. Its fun to find a game that is built well and enjoyable. So many games now come out half finished (I was a sucker that prebought Battlefield 2044 and Cyberpunk before that). Its a pleasure when you can just sit down and play an game and it works 'out of the box'

I got through the 1st 4 books on Audible. I enjoyed them but they can get a little long winded. But funny story... I used to used Audible a lot as I did a lot of travelling. Changed jobs, now I dont travel as much. I used to be on their monthly plan but my credit card expired but because was not looking for more books I didnt really care. Jump forward 8 months, I wanted a new book, so I updated my credit card and the app INSTANTLY purchased all the credits I missed over those 8 months. poo. Needless to say I now own the ENTIRE series on Audible.. 30+ hours per book.... Im going to need some time here!

ha! Ive been cheesing a rune farm (shooting the giant crow across the ravine) so im up to lvl 147 now. Now with a vigor of 65 I finally feel like I can go into boss battle on my own and have a chance. I'm playing a samurai melee build, but I need all the health I can get!

Is the Dream of one of the top 2 tackles dead?
CanadianCat replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
Trade down, pick up a 2nd or 3rd and draft Linderbaum. -
Ok... I have changed my tune now.. I progressed a bit further into the game, found a rune farm and now dont die at EVERY encounter. Game is a lot more fun after you open it up, but that takes like 40 hours lol. Im having a great time now.

Honestly at this point and as good as he was and is, I think we need to get more reps to our young guys. We needed to retain him or Jackson, we kept Jackson, time to let Horn and Henderson get their reps.

Chris Simms top QB is Matt Corral and why you should listen
CanadianCat replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
When it comes to targeting franchise QB's in the draft I dont think you can afford to get cute and trade back. If Corral is 'the guy' you take him at 6. I dont thiink we should draft a QB this year. My strategy would be to try to bait a QB needy team into a haul of picks so we have ammo for next years QBs..
