So many teams seem to want to trade back but don't hear much about anybody wanting to trade up. What's the deal with that?

They gave up a lot but I doubt he is washed. He will bounce back impressively i am sure. Not my favorite person and he seems like he can be a bit of a jerk but I would be willing to bet he is far from washed. New team will refresh his mind and he will put up some big numbers. -
ESPN lays off employees, with more cuts to come

The only thing Disney needs to lay off is those high price hikes on their already overpriced menu in the parks as well as lay off those increases on the tickets into said parks. Try laying off some of that first. Disney is one greed driven monster that's for sure. -
Doesn't seem overly cocky to me. Not Bryce Young level personality but does not seem like his development will be hindered on some made up "cocky bad attitude narrative that some appear to want to paint". I think they get some of the "cocky" from the fact that he takes mirror selfies shirtless and is probably in much better shape than many could ever hope to be in so it hits them in their ego just a bit. That's my take but we all see how valuable and different our takes are as fans. Only difference being I never threaten to leave my team's fanbase and no longer watch as a fan if the team makes a move I don't personally agree with.

With all the hate I see him getting, I hope he is successful in the NFL and makes some people shut their mouths. I'm not judging as I am in no position to judge him off of and only know what I see on television and internet message boards from random screen names. Willing to bet he becomes something decent and not knocking him for trying to put himself in the best possible shape. He is most definitely a physical beast and has every bit of a good chance to develop himself into a solid NFL QB with enough hard work.

BetMGM has closed their book on the #1 overall pick

I prefer Stroud myself but it almost sounds like if Young is the pick that you would want him to fail just to enjoy the show....Tell me that is not true at least. If young is the pick I will get behind him and back him hoping he has an amazing career and I was completely wrong. I was kind of thinking all of us fans would be that way...? -

True, I wish he would drop. Your predictions do look pretty accurate to me and one of the better mocks ive seen posted. -
Agreed, he seems to have the character and mental acuity that every team searches for in a QB. If this guy was even just 6'1, he would probably be the consensus number 1 by far. Very hard to not like him. Someone like that as a franchise player would most definitely rub off on others around him especially if he turns out to be any good.

Im definitely concerned on Young's size and have my worries/doubts but of course if he is chosen I hope I am proven very wrong and will back him as our guy with enthusiasm. Young is obviously a very likable guy. For that matter though, Stroud seems very likable as well. The sub 200 pound frame on Young is concerning any way you look at it though.

One thing I take from this is Bryce Young is extremely intelligent, has a very likable personality, and is someone anybody could get behind to be the face of their franchise. This is coming from someone who has been a CJ Stroud supporter as I worry about his size but man does Young seem to have the' It" factor that you look for in a leader. You cant help but like the guy! Even myself who has been hoping for Stroud. If Young is the pick I immediately get behind him day one and will be equally as excited based upon what appears to be a great head on his shoulders and an extreme willingness to win which he has done at all levels in his life. He seems very mentally strong and I respect that immensely.

Bryce Young Film Breakdown Megathread

I am more of a Stroud guy and do worry about Young's size in the NFL but you really cant argue that Bryce Young seems like he has a wonderful attitude, would be a great leader and is one very likeable guy! -

How about the giant TE out of Georgia in the second? If we are going to have a smaller QB maybe we could give him a Godzilla sized target? If he keeps his weight down and is aggressive he could be an unstoppable force in the red zone. If he were to catch onto the pro game fast we could have both he and Hurst as viable receiving options which could cut down on the need for a WR. Just thoughts as I think it would be interesting to pair the largest TE in the league with the smallest QB. never know, it could work out! -
I prefer CJ Stroud as it seems like you get most all of Young's characteristics except a slightly stronger arm, more height/weight and potentially a more accurate passer but if Panthers select Young he will immediately get my full backing and I hope my worries on Young are completely wrong. I guess yes, that means I have accepted if Young is the pick.
