It's the modern mindset unfortunately. If they aren't completely developed into Jerry Rice by first day of training camp or day 1 of regular season then they must be a bust.

I would wait until the regular season is played out some before passing final judgement on XL. And no, I certainly wouldn't redshirt him with a phone injury. He needs game reps to develop further and show what he is capable of doing.

If this is true I would definitely keep him. No denying he is a very solid corner when healthy. His only knock from keeping him from being the best is that injury bug. Lets hope he is over it because he could be a huge important piece on defense

Didn't Deon say Shedur is NOT allowed to be drafted by the Panthers as one of his no teams? We may have a situation where he is drafted by us but has to be traded away because of daddy so I wouldn't get my hopes up too much for him unless the organization changes daddy prime times mind. Thats if we suck worst in the league of course and that would mean a total melt down collapse of Bryce. I guess I will worry about that if and when it happens but im hoping to see them improve this season so I guess im not a tanker this season off the bat.
