Wow, his stats are better than I thought they were. God that is night and day compared to Bryce. Fields is a starter in the NFL on many teams and an absolutely awesome best in the league backup QB without a doubt. If he could up that passing per game average just a little more I think he would be very legit. I would trade for him depending on what they want for him.

But dont forget benjamin was a nasty beast his rookie year and I believe would have turned into an extremely dominant WR had his mind been there and his work ethic been there as well as had he stayed away from too many CiCi's Pizza buffets. Ginn wasnt a record breaker but man that dude was awesome at the deep bomb. If Benjamin would have panned out as the bad ass he looked like his rookie year and grown from there with good mental health and a solid work ethic we would have won the super bowl with Cam and Benjamin would be on hall of fame pace career IMHO

How are you sure he wont resign with us in the offseason? Nobody is going to give us his worth so I say take a gamble and see if we can get him to resign with us for something that doesn't set WR records for money.

This right here was exactly my thoughts but just stated much better than I would have. Very well thought out response

He has all the tools but unfortunately for him I believe that his issues may come from something there we are not seeing behind the scenes like work ethic or not committed as he should be in some way shape or form. I don't know this for sure but i get the feeling there is more there to the story than we have ever known.

I have accepted that Bryce is a bust
Ricky Prickles replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
Exactly and I have noticed the same thing completely. You would think Bryce harmed someone people's loved one here or did something awful in some way by how toxic that hate for him truly is. Yes he sucks as an NFL QB but so would I and it is certainly not a reason to poo on him as a human being. Great point and great post. -
I have accepted that Bryce is a bust
Ricky Prickles replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
Who are these people who still exist? Are they on this board? I haven't seen anyone in awhile that believes Bryce is not a bust.....? I didn't think he actually had one person in this board who still believes in him but I could be wrong. Bryce belongs on the sidelines and is by all means a good teammate cheering on and high fiving Dalton when he comes of the field after good play. He seems like a very supportive backup QB but I wouldn't want him to ever have to play or wouldn't want to be paying that high salary for someone I can't count on if the starter goes down. I was under the impression everyone here essentially felt that way now or am I wrong? -
If Hubbard does not want bank breaking money, I would absolutely resign him again but he has been through quite a losing culture here since he was drafted so I fear may not want to resign with this team. I can't blame him or fault him if he does not as unless I absolutely loved Charlotte and had to live here I would want to expand my world and see if I could get with an organization where they have more culture of winning consistency and potentially a more stable environment already set-up where they may be just a good running back away from competing for the playoffs etc.

Yeah I don't get the complaining about others complaining...? It's like double standard or something....? Things suck in certain aspects for sure but I don't see myself ever not giving a poo or caring at all. I mean, if still like to see a win and some good play. The day comes that I don't give a poo at all is the day I stop watching totally. I think they are trying to right the shop but from what I see as the product on the field, it won't be happening overnight. Heck, I have all the hope in the world of young WR's and TE's getting a chance to develop just by having a guy at QB who is not afraid to throw it further than 3 yards. I don't feel any of us think we are going to the playoffs here but I feel most of us would like to see this team look like they are improving as the season progresses and we want to see our young players develop at least.
-
Oh look it's a thread complaining about people complaining and complaining about people who don't feel like not giving a poo and still root for the team to win. Holy poo what word salad did I just read?

Jayden Daniels utilizing tech to his advantage
Ricky Prickles replied to Mills's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dedication and good leadership qualities. No wonder he is successful. -
But what if OP is ugly as all fug and has trouble getting laid with anything over about a rating of a 5 without first having to pay the young lady? This would make it difficult to comprehend for some. Some guys have to accept that they get the leftovers of the last call of the night chicks who couldn't get taken home by anyone else. I refer to these guys as the cleanup crew. They handle all the ones the other guys turn down and quiver in their stomachs imagining copulating with.

Carolina Panthers @ Chicago Bears Gameday Thread
Ricky Prickles replied to rodeo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Do they actually exist at this point? I don't know if I have realistically seen one on this board in current days today after everything that has occured to bring us to this point. I'm sure there is one out there somewhere but I sure haven't noticed any these days currently. -
Travis Hunter hype thread
Ricky Prickles replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't care who this team drafts, I just want to see best player available taken and that player to get the proper coaching he needs as well as have the right mindset to develop and become a very successful player in the league and I would like to see this in all rounds. Pretty simple strategy there and I think that's where we need to be currently. -
Would you say that weak sensitive rule applies to bullies as well? I tell my 14 year old not to take poo from any bully at school and if physically touched to knock their damn teeth down the back of their throat. Does that mean I gave him weak advice? Am I just too sensitive and weak apparently? We live in a world where sometimes you must retaliate and or make an example out of an asshole or they and their little punk ass friends/followers/teammates will continue to tear down and harm their victims. Sometimes a bully needs to spit their teeth out their mouth to learn a valuable lesson. Unfortunately it holds true on a playing field as well as there are bullies even between the hash marks. A message board is different I will give you that in that you can't be harmed physically but if a person responsible for retaliation is suspended, I would most definitely suspend someone playing message board bully and baiting as well but unfortunately I realize we live in a society now where the guilty are made excuses for while the victims are penalized when they take up for themselves. It seems like opposite world where good is bad and bad is now considered good. I guess I will just keep being weak and sensitive and enjoy watching a bully spit their teeth out their smug mouths and playing the victim card right after while I relish in a good chuckle at how justice was served.

As fans of this team in the end it's just a game. We have the luxury of not being paid by the organization and having jobs in the line so to us it's just a game. The sun will still rise and set no matter how many games this team wins or loses. I want them to be successful but in the end I don't control it or even make decisions to help it so I have to just accept what I see and if I'm not content with the results not let it get to me that badly. My on the bright side comment would be "At least we don't have to watch Bryce lead this team on offense any longer as it was completely unwatchable then".

My God man, let it rest. I don't think Cam even wants to return at this point and is happy in his new life doing the whole social media thing. Cam was a wonderful guy and grew up to become a good leader right in front of us in his days but he has moved on and you should as well.

Coker is very interesting and deserves more in game reps to see just how far he can develop. He may very well be a diamond in the rough and we are foolish if we do not keep him out there now. XL I believe will be fine but I'm probably biased due to personal reasons there. My boy was slightly overdrafted but will NOT bust. I know due to personal reasons and I know what kind of young man is behind the guy you are playing on Sundays. He may have some growing pains this season but he will put up some numbers and will continue to develop to the point that he will not be seen as a bust. But definitely don't take my word for it, just wait and see. Mingo I am disappointed in so far. He occasionally flashes something that gives a slight glimmer of hope and then hits the ground with a thud it almost feels like. It's not time to give up on him as last year was tough for development with any WR having Bryce throwing to them so I've counted this season almost as Mingos rookie season 2.0. By seasons end i want to see Mingo contributing more and less errors or issues tracking balls in the air or basically being bitched by an opposing DB. I consider him a rookie again this season yet held to a slightly higher standard since he has done this before last season and is at least familiar with life in the NFL. TE Sanders: Yep, bad game but he gets and needs more time to develop. You have a rookie who needs in game reps here so if you want to see what he can be in the future get him even more reps in this throw away season with a QB who of course is not an all pro but who is very capable of getting the ball to him through the air unlike Bryce is at all. Sanders needs more time and needs more game development time it's as simple as that and anyone who calls him a "bust" and "cut him" already is hot take jag-offc and there is a reason they have never been paid as any sort of coach or even managerial role in anything football related. Stick with pressing buttons on your keyboards in your little cubicles. You know, poo you actually know and do well since you are so quick to say cut Sanders after his 5th game at the NFL level. There's my analysis and/or hot takes but what do I know of course.
-
Agreed and great non biased point! It is his worst year stats wise but other factors most definitely playing in there as well just as you said.
-
Sanders is a rookie and needs some game reps for development. Maybe not a huge assignment and to be playing as much but he gets somewhat of a partial pass with rookie development needed. Doesn't fly still and he can't remain that way even by seasons end especially second season but he needs more time and not to be given up on completely yet. Mingo has been disappointing completely and hoped for more on his second season. I could definitely see some others moving past him on the depth chart after this past weekend.
-
This is the correct answer right here. I'm surprised more people can't see it.
-
Yep, he is 29. He still has some years left in him. If he does not want top of the league money and wants something reasonable I see no reason to not try to sign him for a few years here. We should at least explore with his agent right now what he is thinking and what it would take. I simply would not trade him and would use the season to evaluate and form an offer while remaining in contact with he and his agent to see what we can work out. To me it's worth the risk to watch, evaluate and see what happens. If he walks then we lose a later round pick and everyone knows we have thrown those away like crazy already as well as high round picks. Nobody is giving us a high round pick for him so to me it's worth the risk of not acquiring some later round pick for him to see what we can get done with him as well as watch him the rest of the season.

Bryce Young for Trevor Lawrence
Ricky Prickles replied to HardcoreHokie's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've heard her music. It just doesn't appeal to me and sounds pretty pop generic to me
