That one hits hard and most definitely applied to the Cam/Luke/Greg days but also the Jake/Steve Smith days and applies to our everyday lives in various situations. How are you going to tank in the first place? Coaches coaching for their jobs or auditioning for future teams for jobs and players doing the same thing for the next season. Who in their right mind was going to just all agree to lose on purpose? Try telling Foreman last year "I know you rode the bench a good portion of the season but now we want you to not run for that first down or fumble on purpose etc..". He was running for his Bears contract as all other players were fighting for their next team's job or contract.

Each season for whatever reason I continue to lose faith in Fitt. and want to see Dan Morgan promoted to full on GM to see what he can do.

He looked pretty good carrying the football yesterday. I never had much confidence in him but yesterday he caught my attention. He does run hard and looks like he makes quick good decisions on hitting holes. I would like to see Sanders and Chuba split carries to hopefully keep both healthier this season.

I agree the team looked horrible in preseason and looked awful yesterday as well but it's the guys who are on here acting like their lives are over who need to step back and take a deep breath for a second. I mean, who actually thought they were going to the playoffs this season especially after watching preseason? Guys like Panthers Fan 69 on here acting as if their world is finished should probably find a new hobby if its going to stress them so badly as it appears. Talk about soon to suffer health problems from that much mental anguish. Unfortunately I never thought we would be very good so I was down but not surprised and had to get over it. The narratives were already written. Chark unavailable due to being hurt before the season even started, Horn going down in another non contact situation, Bryce struggling (most rookies do anyhow), etc... Nothing was really a surprise here. I guess if anything, it is sad and pathetic for me to have figured how first game would go but im definitely not a calm down guy. Im just a disappointed and not worrying about it guy.

Who in the absolute hell has EVER accused Josh McDaniels of being a good coach on here? I dont think I have ever seen one person say he is a good coach on here.

True but RB is a necessity still in the modern game. If you have a guy who cant find holes, change direction fast or hot the hole quickly and your run game sucks the other team will prep for the pass only all day and be ready to shut it down. While maybe not valued as much, they are still very important and you need some decent ones. Outside of Sanders I worry for depth in that area.

That guy looks pretty damn good as well. Last years WR draft looks like it had some very solid receivers and if i were us, I would definitely keep an eye on USC for future drafts as they do look like they are churning out some pretty good receivers these days.

As a fan I would be down about it but putting myself in his shoes I would then say go get your money so I feel like I would be a hypocrite to answer this unfortunately
