I wonder why Morgan wants to be an executive and not a coach? He is obviously intelligent and was a good player. Who knows, maybe he would make a hell of a good linebackers coach that eventually moves into a total defensive coordinator and then has coach.

Hopefully so. If next season is as much a struggle as this season was we HAVE to look elsewhere at QB I would hope.

His post was one of the most reasonable I have seen. He is not asking for immediate replacement but some competition and if Bryce still can't improve after next season then replacement. I feel like that should be the plan moving forward. How many years do you think they will bring Bryce out if he keeps struggling and they have fixed the O-Line and decent receivers who give a crap and can get separation? I hope they wouldnt go further than a couple years but who knows I guess.

Unfortunately this is what I worry about here. Tepper so scared to give up control and not be able to meddle along with Nicole. How on earth would they fill their days then? It's the smart thing to do but I don't feel like Tepper can get out of the way of his own inflated ego.

Well, I think the O-line did suck, most of our receivers sucked (not Thielen) and the coaching sucked but also Bryce sucked something awful as well and just looked overmatched, weak, afraid, hesitant and like he belonged as a 3rd string backup in NFL Europe or the USFL or something like that.

People fail at business ventures all the time. Doesnt mean they are not cut out for other lines of work. He may not have a pizza restaurant mind but he could have a football GM mind. Beane turned out pretty decent so far and we couldnt judge him by Hurney

I was trying to gloss it over but you are exactly right, he was the worst. I also agree in that I would not want him for a backup. Dalton is a good backup type, Bryce at this point may not even be considered a practice squad developmental guy.

All three of those guys are very good and will bounce back next season. Lawrence played injured a huge portion and probably shouldn't have been on the field but I'm willing to bet he lights it up next season along with Burrow and Herbert. Mahomes will of course be a bad ass as usual and unless Stroud is a one hit wonder, he will continue looking great. I sure wish we could get a QB that was a tough gun slinger. Tag and trade his ass. If we can't get a trade partner then let him walk and get a compensatory. Should have traded him to the Rams when we had the chance but hindsight is 20/20. I can definitely say I don't feel he is worth some big ass contract.
