  1. Thats true when you describe it that way. If the new coach does not want them, then they missed their opportunities. That is a dick move.
  2. Well then tell us why he hasn't thrown as many batted balls this season? Why did he look pathetic here but looks solid there? Culture means crap coaching too. I think a good portion of it was and is mindset and he has a better mindset there of course. Crap culture will give you crap mindset thus carrying a defeated attitude onto the field.
  3. I agree, Ridder is awful. Give that team a real QB and they are dangerous.
  4. Cant argue with that. Throw in CMC with Foreman splitting carries and both fresh and we would have had a two headed monster at RB while having DJ at WR and we would have looked great. Darnold is not a complete bust and while not tops in the league could have held it down until we found a legitimate answer at QB for the long haul.
  5. My expectations are so low after our last two head coaches that I would be happy with almost anyone with half a brain. This guy does have extreme potential written all over him and you sold me on him
  6. This right here. The mind is the most important element to an athlete. That's why I feel like you cant count out Bryce Young yet even. he does not have the physical tools but if he had the sharpest relentless no fear mindset and wasn't so timid, he would actually be successful as a QB like CJ Stroud has been. You can see it on Stroud that he has the mindset for it. Bryce does not currently and may never if something does not change or if some coach cant get through to him. Baker did not have his mind right with us and had weak idiotic coaching in Rhule to back him up. Now Baker somehow has his mind right and plays with the confidence he needs to be a better QB plain and simple.
  7. All the talent in the world to be an all pro and top in the league but an attitude and maturity that makes a middle school boy look like a matured grown adult. It's a shame that his attitude could derail his career totally.
  8. I agree. Next season is make or break for ours. He better come out guns blazing and stop playing scared if he wants to make it in the NFL. The size issue with him is rough enough to where he HAS to carry some sort of attitude chip on his shoulder playing angry and wanting to prove them all wrong after this season but I'm not sure if he has enough anger inside and chip on his shoulder fire in him to make that happen.
  9. Their receiver George Pickens will be a monster if he works on his attitude and the Steelers provide him with a QB worth a poo.
  10. If Bryce is ruined by this past season then he never had it to begin with. This one season should not have ruined him and should have given him so much playing time that he got some development out there and lost some fears to stop playing scared. He is not ruined yet and let's hope next season is a fresh start with a decent coaching staff that can save his career.
  11. I enjoy football and not such a football stuck up that I consider XFL/USFL bad football in general just because it isn't the NFL so I will watch. The Arena Football League starts back this year as well but I suppose it will get called "bad football" or not real football by the football stuck ups as well which it most definitely was not and was quite enjoyable to watch.
  12. Tua and Hurts are definitely not flops. They belong in the league. The others listed I have my serious doubts including our Bryce Young.
  13. As of today, Houston has a much more talented roster with receivers who can actually get open and other positions where the players actually give what appears to be full effort but Houston also has a better QB. Unfortunately when I see them both, Stroud just has a better handle on the game and simply plays better and is better. Not to say that couldn't change in the future but right now there's no question, Stroud is simply much better of a QB and was the better pick of the two as much as I hate to say it.
  14. Dabo will soon be headed to Alabama I see. Clemson fans love him but will soon hate him when he drops them in the dumper like last nights spicy burrito
  15. No Beyonce? Oh god, what on earth would I do with my spare time if I missed a Beyonce concert?
  16. If you are speaking of his maturity, he has done nothing bad and maturity has been top notch here at USC. I practically see him everyday and he has been a wonderful leader. His maturity is no longer in question.
  17. I live right next door to Rattler and see all the games and hear all the buzz. He has done nothing at all to warrant any criticism as far as maturity. He has been a model citizen, player, leader and team representative. The young man has matured and been a solid all around student athlete.
  18. Cant say I disagree with you. Its good to grow the game and all and I know the NFL only does it to get more fans in far off places but I see where you are coming from most definitely.
  19. Speaking as a fan of both players since before they were drafted here, the only metric by which Brown is better than Burns is one called Personal Bias. Nah, Brown is just flat out better than Burns and worthy of a top 3 in the league at his position contract. Burns just isn't.
  20. I agree. The American League takes the puss way out. Their damn pitchers need to be in the batters box too!
  21. ...still not pay Brian Burns top of the league at his position salary because he is not top of the league. I would then use a few bucks of my 21 billion to buy him a farewell bouquet of flowers as I either tagged and traded him or if not possible just let him walk unfortunately since our old gm was too stupid to trade him to the Rams when he had a chance. Oh, and I would buy myself one of the "Swedish suck machines" to use as I sat at my desk doing important billionaire poo. Not a late model Swedish suck machine either. One of those top of the line high end ones with the quick charge battery pack.
  22. Its a new season, somehow maybe by a miracle we will be better and worth watching. If they could somehow hire a coach worth a poo, perhaps he could somehow at least get us competitive in his first season even without many resources currently like a number 1 draft pick.
