First interaction between players and Coach Canales
Ricky Prickles replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's one big dude! -
I mean, I come here for stress relief. I come to talk a little poo, tell some bad jokes, debate some, bitch some, laugh some, vent some and in the end get some updates before I read them on other websites because this site is good for that. It's a little of everything and so hard to understand those who seem to get even more down coming here. Life is hard enough, I don't see why they need a website to make them even more sad.

Nothing wrong with acknowledging reality but thousands of posts and all negative, sad, despair makes me wonder why even show up to a board like this if it promotes that much sorrow? As far as Bryce goes the reality is odds are against him that he will turn this all around and yep his size and more importantly his arm strength is a concern. Doesn't mean I'm going to sit around negative for the rest of my days though.

The sad thing is that it was not an insult your way at all. I was just curious and concerned due to having a similar issue many years is all. I don't put anybody on ignore. Forget I even asked then. Sorry to have bothered you.

Trigger has nothing to do with anything and I haven't been a huge Bryce supporter either in terms of my confidence in him so that has absolutely nothing to do with anything. I simply noticed you never have one thing positive to say or think ever. It's always negative and I was blown away by it. I've seen it over many months and expect to see it but just realized today you are without a doubt the most negative poster I have ever seen on here. It seems as if this team brings you nothing but down. They have been a huge disappointment to me as well I can relate but if anything in my life we're to feel so hopeless and negative that I appear to be down and negative 100% of the time, I would simply find other things that do make me happy. I don't know if it is just the character you play on this board or if the true you. I was hoping it was just your character because I wouldn't wish that amount of constant negativity that just multiplies toxicity on my worst enemy. If you are truly that way, I'm sorry man. Seriously, I hate that poo for you. I spent a huge portion of my life that way and I can relate. It felt like I had fallen in a damn pit and could not climb my way out for anything. I hope it isn't this way for you. There's no trigger here, and Bryce has zero to do with it or his small size. It was just me concerned due to at one time seriously being able to relate is all.

They were hoping Bryce would show up looking like this I guess.......

I don't mean to be an asshole but MY GOD YOU ARE NEGATIVE. I don't believe in all the time I have seen you on here that you have ever been positive about anything at all....? Again not being an ass but do you approach everything in life the way you do on this message board? Are you always negative about everything? It's all good man. Yes our franchise sucks and has sucked for a good long time but it isn't worth having doom and gloom 24/7 forever. Life is too short to be that negative all the time.

Official Panthers Visits/Prospect Meetings Tracker
Ricky Prickles replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we are scheduling some QB's, why not Spencer Rattler for a visit? Since he played at USC it wouldn't count according to the rules I just read.- 109 replies

I would classify TMJ as a bust now absolutely. He just doesn't have what it takes at the pro level I do not believe. I however do not believe that it is a lack of skill. I believe it is simply a combo of some or all of the following: Lack of heart, lack of "dawg", head isn't in it, lack of maturity and lack of work ethic. Any or all of the above there is making him fail and that could very well follow him to any team he goes to after us. That's a problem within himself that must be corrected if so.

How is his injury history? Sounds like a good player but he is readily available to play? Worry about his small frame and light weight for longevity
-
Not all of them.

I'm already sold on Legette but know him personally and had all too many interactions with him the past couple years because I'm biased and love the dude as a human being. He is going to be something special at the next level I can feel it. The person inside he is and the hungry to be the best he can be humble good guy is going to transfer well to being extremely coachable and able to develop as he goes. Not to mention an insanely great work ethic and maturity level not often seen in college. This guy is a total package and will amount to a great player for whoever is smart enough to take him.

I don't want to move out of this position for much of anything unless the haul we would get would be so amazing that it was a no brainer. We have a chance to acquire a very solid start with pick 33 and I would prefer us keeping it and selecting someone with it.

Steelers can pick receivers, right? Food for thought.
Ricky Prickles replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Can't blame him, he has all the makings of a very good receiver at the next level. -
He is tough for sure but I'm willing to bet has a history of that toughness in college and barely missed either. I feel like that's an outlier for a smaller guy though. I just want our top pick this year to be maximized and not be a TMJ bust but become a solid player who isn't injury prone.
-
I would prefer someone not made of glass and also someone who isn't super thin and tiny who will be injury prone and easily breakable in the pros. I realize size isn't everything in the NFL but to play safe the guy who only weighs about 165 pounds that suddenly became in the talks I would throw him out immediately. Steve Smith was undersized supposedly but he was still like 185-190 pounds. Huge difference.

Good point, agreed

No way Travis Kelce is the GOAT TE. He is definitely a great player but I dont see how he can be a Tony Gonzales or a Shannon Sharpe.

Xavier Legette and Peyton Wilson 33 and 39
Ricky Prickles replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
What he said exactly except he said it much better than I could have. Totally agree with you. -
I believe he could separate but he doesn't have the "dawg" in him or desire to put some work in to improve. He has serious tools but something is so odd with him.
